How Do I Return an Item from Aldi?

If you have purchased an item from ALDI and found it unsatisfactory, you have several options to return it and obtain a refund or replacement.

Receipts & Packaging

For many return methods, you will need to have the receipt for the item you purchased. If you don't have a receipt but do have the item, you'll receive a gift card loaded with store credit in most cases. You should also have as much of the item and its packaging as possible.

ALDI-Brand Products

If your item is an ALDI-brand food product, you may qualify for the "Twice as Nice" guarantee and receive both a replacement and a refund. Bring your receipt and the unused portion of your purchase to the nearest ALDI store and ask to speak with customer service, or any available cashier. You will receive a replacement product and a refund, usually in the form of your original payment method.

Exceptions

The "Twice as Nice" guarantee does not apply to non-food, non-ALDI products. It does not apply to national brands, either. And if your issue is something other than quality, you may not receive the "Twice as Nice" guarantee - but will still have the option to choose either a refund or replacement. Still bring your receipt, any unused portion of your purchase, and its packaging to your nearest ALDI store.

Depending on your local state or municipal laws, your neighborhood ALDI may not be able to refund or replace alcoholic beverages. A store manager can offer you guidance on what to do regarding an unsatisfactory alcohol purchase.

If you purchased a non-food item, that item may be covered by warranty. You should consult the product manual or warranty card to determine how to file a warranty claim. Follow the procedures outlined there.

If you purchased a computer or electronic item, you must return the item with all original packaging and a receipt. You must make this return within 90 days of purchase.

If your product is part of a recall, you may return it to any nearby ALDI store for a full refund. You do not need to provide a receipt in this case.
