M&T Bank Customer FAQ

If you've forgotten your M&T Online Banking User ID, you can retrieve it directly from the M&T Bank website. Visit the login page, click on "Help with User ID" link under the user login section. You will need to provide some information to confirm your identity, like your Social Security Number or Taxpayer Identification Number and one of your M&T Bank account numbers. Once you've entered this information, follow the prompts to retrieve your User ID. Remember to protect your User ID as it is sensitive banking information.
