The US Bank online bill pay feature lets you send payments to your friends, family and other businesses using your preferred payment method. You can set up a new payee with US Bank. Here are the steps to set up a new bill pay payee with US Bank.
To log in to US Bank online banking, go to your US Bank account and enter your username and password. If you don't know either of these things, click Forgot Username or Forgot Password.
To access the bill pay feature, log in to your account and click the Bill Pay tab.
If you're using a mobile device and don't see a bill pay button, tap or click to open up an overlay menu that will let you select Bill Pay from within it. You can also search for Bill Pay directly.
To add a new bill pay payee, you'll need to navigate to the Bill Pay menu. Look for the Add Biller button under the Payees section.
If you're using a mobile device or tablet, click on the three dots in the top right corner of your screen and choose Add Biller.
Select Account Services if using an older version of US Bank's website. Choose Bill Pay next to Manage Your Account.
Select a name for your new bill payee. You may also want to enter any other pertinent details, such as account numbers. Create a note or reference to remember why you set up this particular payment.
Ensure you fill all the fields out correctly before moving on. This ensures no mistakes when sending money.
