I need to update my phone number on my account to regain access. However, when I fill out the phone number update form, it indicates it may take up to two days to verify. It has been over three months, and I have submitted the form over 10 times, with no response from Affirm. My correct email address is on file, and I receive the verification code each time I request the update. Additionally, when trying to fill out the 'I have a different question' form on the Affirm website, it limits you to selecting from only 6 topics. Even if you choose one randomly, it continues to prompt you with questions related to that topic in a loop, preventing you from submitting your query. This cumbersome process makes it unusually challenging to contact their customer support for a simple inquiry.

I have been an Affirm customer for 2 years without any issues until I changed my phone number. Despite following all their website instructions and spending the last two months on the phone with their representatives trying to update my phone number, I have been unable to access my account. After receiving an email requesting verification in the form of my passport and face pictures, I submitted the information. However, a week later, I was informed that access to my account was still denied. This has left me unable to view my account or outstanding balances, even though automatic payments continue to be deducted from my bank account. Despite numerous requests for a printed or emailed account statement, I have not received any assistance. I am concerned about the legality of Affirm denying me access to my own financial account. Any assistance with this matter would be greatly appreciated. Best regards, M. DeConti

I recently bought an item on Reverb.com with the first payment due on February 1, [redacted]. Despite setting up debit card controls with my bank to avoid autopayments, Affirm repeatedly tried to process payments automatically. Due to past fraudulent activities on my cards, I prefer manual authorization for all payments. Although Affirm attempted autopay, my bank declined the transactions. I manually authorized the payments within 24 hours, and Affirm accepted them, deducting the amounts owed from my monthly total. However, when I went to make my June payment, I discovered that my account had been closed for non-payment, despite my payments bringing down the balance over four months. Customer service acknowledged my payments and even refunded my May payment, yet my account remains in default. Despite speaking with foreign representatives and supervisors, including promises of responses within days, no resolution has been reached. I fear legal action may be necessary for this issue over a purchase under $1,[redacted].

I made a purchase through my mom's Amazon Prime account using Affirm for payment. Even though the down payment went through, Amazon claimed the payment method was declined. Wanting to switch cards and cancel the order due to multiple purchases that day, I accidentally paid full price for the item instead of using Affirm. Assuming the order was canceled, I expected a refund that never came. Despite paying the entire amount, there's a payment due on June 21st that confuses me since I canceled the original order. After contacting Amazon's customer service, I was directed to reach out to another company for help. Still awaiting the refund, the current charge for the full-price order leaves me puzzled about the situation and unable to make the required payment.

I made a purchase on 6/16 and canceled it the same day. I have proof of cancellation and a refund invoice, but my Affirm account still shows the loan as processed with monthly payments due. I contacted customer support two weeks ago, and they assured me the issue would be resolved, but it has not been fixed. Despite providing evidence of cancellation, I continue to receive payment requests. My loan ID is BEVU-58DL. I am frustrated with the lack of response from Affirm after reaching out multiple times. I simply want the item removed from my loan, as I should not be required to make payments on a canceled purchase.

Hello. In May, I used a virtual card for a purchase at Home Depot. They do not accept virtual cards in-store, so an employee tried to do the purchase online for in-store pickup. However, since it was going to take 7-14 days to receive the item, I opted to cancel the purchase and use a different credit card in-store. The amount is still pending on my Affirm account after 2 months. When will this pending transaction be removed?

Since January to August, I have struggled with gaining access to my account. Despite being charged multiple times monthly and facing overdraft fees, the company I reached out to for help has failed to resolve the issue. Even after explaining that my email address needs to be updated, the problem persists. I am frustrated beyond words by this situation and feel taken advantage of financially. I have been unable to make necessary changes to payment dates due to my limited income, and the lack of assistance has left me contemplating further steps to address this ongoing problem.

I understand your frustration with the customer service experience. It can be challenging when communication is difficult due to language barriers. It seems like the representative is requesting additional verification steps to ensure the security of your account, which can be frustrating when you've already provided various personal details. It might be helpful to follow the instructions given to regain access to your account. Your feedback about preferring local customer service representatives is duly noted. I hope the situation gets resolved promptly for you. Thank you for sharing your concerns.

I wish to report a fraudulent charge that I did not authorize. Affirm is unwilling to accept my claim despite providing multiple screenshots of others facing similar issues with a charge labeled V by a company named AT&T COR DF. The lack of proof of not receiving any product or service complicates matters. Language barriers make proving innocence in cases of credit card fraud challenging. I made some payments to maintain my credit score, but it bothers me as I believe this charge is unjustified. I filed a claim, submitted an affidavit, and shared other individuals' experiences like mine, but Affirm insisted I authorized the charge. I have always paid my dues on time, but this loan does not belong to me, and I did not consent to anyone taking money on my behalf. This issue dates back to the end of May, noticed in June, and I immediately contacted Affirm. Resolution is crucial as this debt is not mine, and it impacts my credit negatively. Thank you, Brooke

I have been unable to access my Affirm account for 5 weeks since changing my phone number. Despite having the account for 5 years and paying off my loans on time, I'm facing issues with my current loans being due. I requested for my account details to be sent by mail, but was informed that I need to undergo verification. Even after uploading my driver's license multiple times, I'm encountering difficulties with the facial recognition step. The support team seems unable to assist me, and this situation has been quite distressing for me. The requested verification includes providing a photo holding today's date and a picture of my government-issued ID.

I need to update my account login email address because the one associated with my account, [redacted], was closed in June. I am unable to verify my identity because the email is no longer active, and I cannot receive the verification code. I have tried to update my information on the account settings link, but the verification email is sent to the closed email address. I can receive the verification code via text on my cell phone ([redacted]), but I cannot proceed without the email verification. My SSN ends in [redacted], and my mailing/billing address is [redacted] N [redacted] West, Logan, Utah [redacted]. I am hopeful this issue can be resolved soon.

I ordered an iPhone 11 Silver and it was approved on 9/6/22. I ordered it online, but UPS returned the order twice. The second time, it was sent back to the warehouse it came from. I never had possession of the phone, so it was never activated or used. I spoke with both Cricket stores and Affirm, and they said the other party must resolve the issue. Since you have access to when I was approved and when the order was placed, you should also know about the phone being returned to the warehouse. I am not going to make any payments for a phone I never received. I rejected the delivery because I found a cheaper purple iPhone 11. Please resolve this issue. Thank you. Wilma S.

Hello, I recently reviewed my Experian credit report and noticed a personal loan from Affirm Inc. for $4,[redacted].00 that I did not apply for or have any knowledge of. This loan has 12 balances due, which is puzzling to me as I never engaged with Affirm Inc. I am seeking guidance on how to remove this erroneous entry from my credit report. I am unfamiliar with this company and would appreciate advice on resolving this matter efficiently. Thank you for your help. - S. Covarrubias.

I am experiencing issues with my Affirm account regarding verification. When trying to update my phone number as prompted, I do not receive the confirmation email despite repeated attempts. I previously called to rectify an error where my last name was incorrectly listed as Godsey instead of my current name, Hoffman. Despite explaining this change thoroughly, I still cannot access my account. I was assured it would be resolved during my last call, but the problem persists. My contact number, which I am also unable to update, is [redacted]. I appreciate any assistance in addressing these ongoing issues. Thank you. Kimberly Hoffman

I’m unfamiliar with Affirm and have no memory of a $[redacted] purchase mentioned as my outstanding balance. The collection agency TrueAccord is contacting me regarding this debt allegedly owed to Affirm. I have made efforts to identify the purchase in question to no avail. I suspect this could be a case of fraud. I require clarification to settle the debt with TrueAccord promptly or address their persistent calls more appropriately. I seek details on 1) the item bought, 2) the merchant involved, and 3) the date of the transaction for my records.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, my computer was hacked, and I received a call from scammers threatening to delete all my files unless I paid them over $[redacted]. They claimed to be from MICROSOFT. Unfortunately, I fell for their scam and now I'm struggling to recover financially. I contacted AFFIRM to request a due date change for my loans. I had the pleasure of speaking with HannaH from AFFIRM. She was incredibly kind and helpful. In a time where customer service can be lacking, she truly stood out for her exceptional service. I wanted to share my positive experience and express my gratitude for her assistance. HannaH deserves recognition for being such a great help.

When I try to access websites like "Jomashop," an online watch seller, the Affirm logo pops up blocking the page. It appears in the upper right corner and prevents me from making any purchases until I manually close the information. I attempted to create an account with Affirm just to bypass this issue on the "Jomashop" site. I recently spoke with two Affirm representatives, but their strong E. Indian accents made it difficult for me to understand them. I requested a supervisor, who also had a thick accent and spoke rapidly, causing further communication challenges. After struggling to comprehend the conversation for over an hour, I eventually informed the supervisor that I was ending the call due to the communication difficulties.

I am on my second attempt to resolve this issue. Affirm's logo keeps appearing on websites such as "Jomashop," interfering with my browsing experience. They prompt me to check my pre-qualification, which I am not interested in. I've made multiple attempts to stop Affirm from displaying their information on my computer, even attempting to create and cancel an account with them. Unfortunately, these efforts have been unsuccessful. Despite speaking with Affirm agents for over an hour, I struggled to communicate due to language barriers, likely stemming from their Indian background. Following your advice, I emailed you regarding this matter, to which you requested clarification on what action I wanted Affirm to take. My primary request is for them to cease placing their ads on websites I visit. I did not solicit these ads and find them intrusive. I appreciate any assistance you can provide in resolving this issue. Thank you, R.S.

This is my third attempt to get help removing an ad from "Affirm." The ad consistently pops up on websites selling items and claims to determine my credit limit. I attempted to open an account to remove the ad, but was unable to do so. Even after unintentionally creating an account, I was sent back to the account creation page. I have diligently followed all procedures, wasted a significant amount of time, and spoken to four customer service agents from Affirm. After spending over an hour with these representatives, the fourth agent informed me they could not remove the ad. I am frustrated and still want the ad removed.
