My wife and I share a North American plan when we switched over to Bell from Rogers. We were told that Bell Mobility is superior to Rogers Mobility. In fact Bell Mobility failed both of us. We went to Buffalo, N.Y. on Feb *, **** only to discover we had no service. We tried calling Bell Mobility but that did not work. We finally called from our hotel room and spoke to a Bell rep who told us to change the service provider manually. My wife got AT&T and I got T-Mobile. It was a sporadic reception as both service providers interchanged on our phones. We missed quite s few calls and I lost business income of $****.**. When we returned to Canada, we did not have any service until Burlington, Ontario (which is further than Ste Catherines, Ontario.). My wife wanted to speak to her sister who was leaving Toronto but my wife had no service. By the time she called her sister, her sister had already left. Needless to say Bell Mobility has failed us. Having a North American Plan means nothing since it does not work!! Paying extra money for this "additional service" is like throwing money down the toilet. The Escalation Team has offered us a $***month reduction in fees but that is NOT enough. Damages have been done both in the USA and in Canada. Bell Mobility is just as bad as Rogers Mobility and much more expensive. I expect better compensation from Bell Mobility and that this matter be escalated to the Executive Offices with a prompt response. Failing which Social and regular media will be made aware of these problems as well as a formal complaint taken out with the regulatory authorities.
