Good Afternoon, my name is William Eggers. My account number is *** **** *********. Today, at approximately *:** PM Mountain Time (Arizona), I called and spoke with Cox representatives. My initial call was to the general number for Cox* I then asked to be connected to a Supervisor.**My call was to explain my displeasure with the billing policy for the same service that someone is to receive for approximately **% less. A friend was quoted an 'out the door' price (EVERYTHING included) of approximately $*** for what I am paying approximately $***. I have been a Cox customer for about ** years. The individual who contacted Cox asked if this was a 'new' customer price or could anyone get it* she was told it is a standard price. Her requested package was EXACTLY like the one I have. She had turned her phone on speaker while she waited for a response from a Cox representative* several other people were there while she was speaking to the Cox representative and heard the price and the confirmation that the price was 'for everything included'.**I spoke with the Cox representative and then asked to be connected to a Supervisor to go on record as being displeased with the Cox pricing. I was connected to Cox representative RON* Cox company ID *****. **I entered the approximate time of my call above and am hopeful that a recording was made for the call. I found Ron to be condescending and smug to the point of being rude. I am hopeful that someone from Cox reviews the phone call. Could I be wrong in my feeling about his attitude? Perhaps, BUT, I am left with a bad taste for Cox after my time on the phone with him.
