Good Morning,* *With all our respect, we address you at this time very concerned because the process of buying a new home with Dr Horton has been more traumatic than we have already realized. *Since our initial days, the issue with the loan originator had been a bit confusing. After clarifying the important points, today we are with surprises again.* *The problem maybe are not the surprises but the misinformation, honestly if we do not request information about the closing times we never find out about the delays. Certainly, we are the buyers, but DR Horton as seller should provide us with updated information about our home. Today and that was because we asked, we found out that perhaps the closing would be on August **th, and the reason is because there is a delay in materials because of the pandemic situation, other way it would be impossible to find out.* *Moving requires planning, time and money. It's not as simple as say one day to another, we move to St Cloud. We are leasing, and this lease contract must be canceled in advance, we must plan what to do with the furniture and personal items. At the beginning of the process, we were told that the closing could be approximately by the end of June so with this in mind we sent to the administration where we are leasing our notice to vacate avoiding any penalty fees and planning our moving with time.*Now, with the new closing date, we must incur expenses, rent, storage, among other things, without any planning.* *We understand the global issue of pandemic and how it has affected the economy of all countries, the covid did not occur in a month, nor a week ago, *we already have more than a year in a pandemic time, so how is it possible that knowing the delay with the installation of the windows and with some materials DR Horton did not find *out about the timing and the buyer is not informed about it in order to a planned move out? And if we do not ask about the closing, when we would find out about the delay of our house?* *We understand that the sale and purchase of the house is a delicate, organized and careful process, for the same reason, we still do not understand why DR Horton make it even more complicated due to the lack of information.
