The extension was necessary due to my inability to travel last summer because of COVID-19. I reached out to the customer service rep prior to May 2, [redacted]. I am looking to either extend the voucher once more or receive a refund, as I am still unable to travel due to the ongoing pandemic. I purchased insurance through Expedia for four airline tickets that got canceled due to Covid by the airline. The tickets were for a flight from CT to FL in April [redacted]. I have contacted Allianz, the insurance company Expedia uses, and submitted a claim. However, I have not received a refund yet. When I contacted Allianz again, they directed me back to Expedia. I bought a ticket for December 29 but didn't end up traveling that day. I called to confirm I'd get credit, which the representative assured me of. However, the credit is not showing up in my Expedia account. I made a reservation for a room from 1/22 to 1/24/[redacted] at Howard Johnson in College Park, GA. Sadly, it was the most disappointing hotel experience I have ever had. The moment I stepped off the elevator until I left, the smell of marijuana in the hallways was overwhelming. I mentioned it to the front desk attendant, but she seemed indifferent. Upon entering room #[redacted], I was shocked by the poor condition of the hotel. There were visible signs of water damage with ceiling holes in the entryway and above the bed by the window. The carpet and furniture were dirty, making me reluctant to walk barefoot. Mold on the bathroom ceiling triggered my allergies. The shower was unusable due to its poor maintenance. The overall cleanliness was unacceptable, with dirty mirrors, a sticky dresser top, and a damaged microwave. There was no hand sanitizer available, one elevator was functional, and face masks were not enforced. Additionally, I was charged $30 for an early check-in. I am requesting a refund of $[redacted].64. I have shared photos with my brother, who worked at OSHA for 25 years. He believes the hotel's condition is unacceptable and would warrant immediate closure. I can provide additional pictures if needed.

Yesterday, my house was destroyed in a fire, and in a rush, I mistakenly used Expedia to make a reservation at WatsekabSuper 8 motel. I used my SSI Mastercard for the payment and arrived at the motel for check-in at 3 pm. I handed over an extra $20 for a pet deposit, which I didn't mind. I recently stayed at the Fairfield Inn in Pineville, NC on March 4th and checked out the next morning, only to find a $[redacted] smoking fee charged to my card. I had booked a flight for my wife, Pavanrat Hristov, departing Bangkok on 02/05/[redacted]. The itinerary included a 4-hour layover in Manila before heading to Sydney the same day. I recently purchased a package deal on Expedia.in and have encountered a misleading situation. I've tried to address it with Expedia customer service, but unfortunately, the clerk abruptly ended the call, which was disappointing given my positive past experiences with their service. The package I booked stated that the airport is a 68-minute drive from the resort; however, all the flight options included in the package are to a different airport which is 4-5 hours away. The transportation cost from this airport to the resort is also significantly high, around 50% of the total package cost. As an international traveler, I did not anticipate such a discrepancy between the airport mentioned in the package and the flight arrangements provided. This inconsistency is confusing and misleading for customers. Additionally, being disconnected by customer service was a frustrating experience.
