I previously mentioned that I received a faulty hotspot device. I require an authorization form to return the defective item. They charged my debit card for this useless item. I seek assistance in obtaining a refund from FreedomPop. They have been unresponsive and I feel apprehensive dealing with them. It is essential to hold them accountable for deceiving people and taking their money. Thank you, Tina.

I was charged $[redacted].69 on May 15 for a year of service ahead. Later, on June 3, I was charged $[redacted].76 for a data upgrade for the upcoming year. In late June or early July, I was informed by FreedomPop that they no longer work with Sprint and advised me to switch to Ting. I believe I am owed a refund for those charges. How do I contact someone at FreedomPop to resolve this issue? - Doug M.

I recently transferred my phone number to Freedompop but they have not released my phone. I'm having trouble setting it up with Sprint. Unfortunately, I'm unable to get through to customer service because I don't have a VIP premium account. Despite their advanced automated system, there are still situations that require human assistance. I bought my phone outright and it's frustrating that it's still locked. I've now transferred my number to Number Bare and I'm confused why Freedompop won't allow the transfer. Thank you, George B. [redacted] NE 191st St. Apt C311 Miami, FL [redacted]

I attempted to set up a family plan using my email address [redacted] My American Express card was charged $39.96 on 8-15-19 for 3 lines, but I never received a welcome email containing the password. I am unsure of the phone numbers linked to the account as I encountered a service issue message. Without a password, I am unable to access the account yet have been billed for the sim cards. Subsequently, I was successful in creating a family plan for 4 lines as I believed the initial one failed. I obtained the password for this plan sent to my email [redacted], which was paid for via PayPal. Is it possible to transfer the 3 lines paid for with American Express under [redacted] to the successful family plan associated with [redacted] paid through PayPal, resulting in a combined total of 7 lines?

Subject: Issue Cancelling Account I have been attempting to cancel my account both on 8/16/17 and 8/17/[redacted] without success. Each time I tried, I received a message stating "Failure. Cancellation Untsuccessful." I have attached screenshots displaying the error messages. I also tried to send a message through my account to inform you of the cancellation, but I received a notification saying I was not eligible to send messages. I want to ensure that my credit card is not charged for the upcoming cycle in two days. Please comply with my request to prevent any charges and avoid a credit card chargeback.

I requested a number transfer to Ultra FLEX Mobile, but FreedomPop declined. I then tried transferring to NUMBER BARN for "phone number parking," which was also rejected by FreedomPop. It has been over a month, and I still cannot port out my number to receive calls and texts from non-FreedomPop numbers. Although my number is active, I am missing important texts needed to access my cryptocurrency. I have been unable to reach FreedomPop support and "Angie" support only exists on Twitter. They have blocked my business phone number, transferred to FreedomPop for parking on 12/17/[redacted]. I switched my business phone to FreedomPop due to inactivity since [redacted] and using it for bitcoin transactions via Google 2-Step Verification (2FA). There are unauthorized credit card charges happening randomly. My business phone number is [redacted] and my email is [redacted]. Regards, Georges.

Dear Customer Service, I have tried to cancel my account multiple times online, but I keep getting a "Failure. Cancellation Unsuccessful. Please Try Again Later" message. I attached screenshots for reference. I also tried to send a message, but the system wouldn't allow it. When I contacted the GetHuman Team, they responded but didn't confirm the account closure. Even calling the customer service number listed online didn't help as there was no option to talk to a representative. I was charged for the next cycle, which I did not authorize. It seems like a scam operation when the system fails to cancel the account, and customer service is unresponsive. I want a refund of $60.77 charged to my credit card. Thank you. M.L.

I have been using your service for over two years. Recently, my phone broke, and I had to get a new iPhone. Even though I transitioned to Unreal Mobile with the same number, my remaining months of service from FreedomPop were not transferred. After my mother's passing, I switched to a used iPhone SE, only to find myself disconnected and directed to Ting. The account is under the name Sue L. Weston, but I am William Rule. I paid for a year with my credit card and now request to close all services and have my phone released for direct reactivation with Sprint. I have contacted the FCC, Sprint, and other providers regarding this issue. As a result, I experienced two emergencies with my phone turned off. It has been challenging to reach a representative at either company to resolve this matter promptly. William Rule

I believe my phone numbers were sold by FreedomPop to Ting mobile. Following the switch, I decided to cancel my two phone accounts with FreedomPop, which were assigned the numbers [redacted] and [redacted]. I am now awaiting the refund of the remaining top-up credit balances on these accounts. I am hoping to receive a refund from FreedomPop for the credit balance owed to me. However, I am encountering difficulty in contacting them since my accounts are closed, and I did not have premium service with them, which restricts my access to reach out to their support or billing departments. I am seeking assistance in resolving this matter and obtaining my credit refund.

I followed the instructions on the page provided regarding receiving the PAC code promptly over the phone or via text within two hours. I attempted to contact your support line to inquire about the delay. After being placed on hold twice for 10 minutes each time and experiencing disconnects and technical issues, I'm reaching out here for assistance. For context: Reason for needing PAC code: To switch my number to another service provider Reasons for the transfer: 1) My service was interrupted twice last week due to data restrictions, impacting my ability to receive important calls. 2) My voicemail malfunctioned previously and now leads to an incorrect number without voicemail notifications, potentially causing me to miss critical messages. 3) I've called your support line six times in the past two weeks, enduring hold times only to face disconnections or system failures, resulting in wasted time of over 2 hours. 4) I cannot contact the support line from my phone, purchased from your company, as the number selection in the automated system is nonfunctional. I have resorted to using a VoIP line that also no longer functions. I prefer not to troubleshoot further and request the prompt issuance of a PAC code after necessary verification within the next hour. Edit: Despite office hours ending, no PAC code or official response has been received. Disappointed but not surprised.

I signed up for the free basic plan, which includes [redacted] minutes, [redacted] texts, and [redacted] MB. However, I was inadvertently charged and signed up for the one-month free trial plus an optional $10.00 top-up credit without my consent. Despite calling customer service and waiting for over an hour to address why my phone was not receiving calls, I got disconnected. My phone data worked briefly, only for me to discover another automatic $20 top-up scheme once the data ran out. I am now down $40 due to unexpected charges. The customer service representative seemed to be working from home as I could hear babies crying in the background. He left me on hold twice during the lengthy call and eventually hung up. I am not eager to hear their explanations for these unjust charges, nor am I looking forward to another call to resolve this issue.

I am having trouble activating and using FreedomPop, allowing it to charge me without any use. I am upset about this situation as it is not fair. When I checked my account, I noticed that $40 was missing. I am disappointed by the lack of response from FreedomPop's customer service. I would like my funds refunded and all services tied to my email or account information canceled. I feel frustrated and helpless. I urge FreedomPop to improve its service and address these issues promptly.

I signed up with Freedompop towards the end of June. I mistakenly received 2 Sim cards and 2 phone numbers instead of one. I later got a Netgear WiFi unit to help with mobile data usage. Not long after, I observed unauthorized transactions on my PayPal account, deducting varying amounts weekly, totaling $[redacted] in less than a month. The Sim cards are incompatible with my phone, but I was still charged $20 to top up the data for the Netgear unit once it hit its limit. It seems like their services are not as free as advertised. Due to these unauthorized charges impacting my finances, I have officially put a stop payment on my account.

I recently cancelled with FreedomPop, yet they still charged $[redacted] to my card without authorization. I did not want their services and require a refund promptly. Unfortunately, I have been unable to reach a live representative to discuss this matter. I am greatly distressed by this situation as the funds deducted were meant for my rent, and now I am at risk of eviction without them returned promptly. Please contact me at 1-[redacted]. My name is Michael, and it is crucial to have the money refunded immediately to fulfill my rent obligation. As a recipient of SSI, I rely on this money, and its absence puts me in a difficult position. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will have no choice but to seek assistance from law enforcement. Your swift attention to this issue is greatly appreciated.

I recently noticed that FreedomPop charged me $70 for a phone number that I'm not using. I did not use my debit card for this transaction; I used PayPal. Due to confusion while setting up the sim, I accidentally obtained an additional number and ended up using it, resulting in the $70 charge for the unused number. This occurred for three months, causing me to overdraw my account. I was also hit with a $25 overdraft fee, bringing the total to almost $[redacted]. With rent and my gas bill due, this has put me in a difficult financial situation.

I am transitioning to a new carrier and have completed all the necessary setup, including number porting. However, a week later, my new service remains restricted. Upon contacting customer service, I was informed that my number is still associated with FreedomPop. I have been advised that until FreedomPop releases my number, my service will continue to be limited. Unfortunately, my attempts to resolve this via email have been automatically marked as "solved." Can anyone offer assistance with this issue?

I've recently switched to a new carrier and completed all the necessary steps, including porting my number. Despite canceling my FreedomPop account a week ago, my new service is still restricted. Upon contacting customer support, I was informed that my number is still associated with FreedomPop. Until they release my number, my new service will remain limited. My attempts to reach out via email were unsuccessful as the system marked my case as "solved" automatically. I am requesting FreedomPop to release my number promptly.

I purchased an LTE SIM card 3in1, and upon receiving it, I found that the new SIM was already activated with a new number. I paid $9.99+$6.98 upfront for this. The issue arose when I accidentally dropped the SIM down the sink drain after activating it on my iPad and phone. Despite everything showing as active, I need a new SIM card to be sent to me. I wish to retain the same number, [redacted], which is already assigned to me. There seems to be a mistake in my account details, as my town is listed as Fairview, NC, when it should be Longview, NC [redacted]. Kindly reach out to me to rectify this situation. Thank you, Roger, 10/9/19.

I would like my Prestige 2 from FreedomPop to be unlocked. I was a customer for over 6 months before they transferred all CDMA customers to Ting. I need it unlocked to switch to another provider of my choice. Details: - Name: Sam Ladymon - Email: [redacted] - IMEI: [redacted][redacted] - ICCID: 8[redacted][redacted]93 - Current phone number: [redacted] I have tried multiple times to get the unlock codes from them, but haven't received any response. They insisted I cancel before providing the codes, so I did as instructed, anticipating the move to Ting. However, I could not submit a ticket anymore, and their emails only suggested upgrading to Voice Support service, which I couldn't do as the account was canceled. I am requesting both the SIM and carrier unlock codes. According to the CTIA agreement, they are obliged to release the codes to all customers who received a phone from them, even if they no longer have active service. These unlock codes are supposedly only provided to the original wholesale purchaser of the phone. Sam
