I bought a Nintendo Switch lite with the protection plan from the Granite Falls, NC store on ******. The entire time I was hassled by an employee by the name of Aldo for my number, so he wasn’t paying much attention to the sale or the item. A couple weeks went by and I didn’t use the switch much, it just sat in the case pretty much, so I was planning on just trading it in since I knew it was past the * days for the return. When I went to trade it in, in the same condition it was bought in, they said they’d have to defect it because of some minor blemishes on the back that were there when I bought it. I explained to them that I bought it in that condition and that I had a protection plan on it anyways. They rudely proceeded to say that there was nothing they could do and if they didn’t like that fact they’d have to defect it, to just take my item and go. My boyfriend, being a previous employee, called up there to ask if there was anything they could do because it didn’t seem right that I was out of a system and about $*** dollars. He was polite about the whole exchange and just wanted to see if there was anything that could be done to resolve the issue. The employee proceeded to rudely say that we had been hassling them and that we were banned from the store.
