Today my spouse and I planned a family outing to IHop to enjoy a meal together. I was thrilled to have more dining options due to my dietary restrictions. Despite a previous negative experience at another location, we decided to try the Richmond branch. While we were promptly seated, the loud and inappropriate behavior of other patrons was unpleasant. When it came time to order, I was disappointed to learn that many of the gluten-free options were unavailable, leaving me with limited choices. The fact that even the eggs contained pancake batter was shocking. Ultimately, we left without ordering, and I felt disheartened and embarrassed by the situation. I hope that in the future, restaurants will ensure they have advertised items in stock to avoid similar letdowns for customers with dietary needs.

I would like to inquire about your policy on providing utensils with take-out orders, specifically in regard to your signature dish, pancakes. During my recent visit, I did not receive any utensils such as a plastic fork, knife, or spoon with my order. When utensils were eventually offered, it was in a negative manner. If pre-packaged utensils are unavailable, it would be beneficial to include them in to-go containers similar to how gravy is provided. This experience has left me dissatisfied with the restaurant and management, prompting me to reconsider future visits.

I had a distressing experience at an IHOP on [redacted] Dyer St, Union City, CA on 01-12-[redacted] at 10:15 AM. I noticed possible racial discrimination as I, being Asian, and my friend, Caucasian, felt unwelcome by three Hispanic hosts who ignored us. Despite being given a number to wait for a table, two Hispanic parties arriving later were seated promptly. Upset, I called to speak with a manager, encountering unhelpful responses initially. After persistence, I spoke with manager Martha, who promised to look into the matter. I seek to bring attention to the potential discrimination occurring at this franchise and the unfair treatment based on customers' race.

I have been working as a server at iHop for a month and unfortunately, I have encountered discrimination at restaurant #[redacted] in Richmond, Texas. I want to report the following individuals for their misconduct and discriminatory behavior: General Manager - MJ - MJ conducted my interview a month prior to being hired which was concerning. - Despite being hired by Mr. Amir, MJ refused to schedule me according to the availability discussed during the interview. FOH Trainer - Kate - Kate displayed reluctance in training me and discouraged our hostess from listening to me which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. Server - Kindall - Kindall made inappropriate remarks in front of customers and used offensive language towards me. I raised these issues with MJ, but no action has been taken. I visited the IHOP on Peach Orchard Road in Augusta, Georgia on February 4, [redacted]. The waitress who greeted me was friendly and seated me promptly. However, after waiting for about an hour, a different waitress came to take my order. Unfortunately, after waiting an additional 30 minutes, I overheard arguments from the kitchen staff and my order was still not ready, causing me to leave without enjoying my breakfast due to work obligations. Many other customers were also experiencing long wait times, leading to frustration and several people leaving without being served. Despite the waitress's efforts to reassure us, the delays in food preparation made the experience stressful for me and others.

Today, on 5/10/20, is a special day for mothers. My husband placed an order for breakfast at 11:28 a.m. at the IHOP located at [redacted] Forest Hill Blvd, Greenacres, FL [redacted]. The email confirmation indicated that the order would be ready by 11:50 a.m. However, upon my husband's arrival, he was informed that the food wasn't ready, with several other patrons also waiting. After waiting for an hour, he was given the option to cancel the order without a refund. It took a total of 2 hours for the food to be prepared. Unfortunately, when I tried the chicken sandwich, which was meant for me, I discovered that half of the chicken was undercooked, leading me to discard it due to its poor quality. We spent a significant amount of money for this disappointing experience and request a refund. This experience has deterred us from returning to IHOP in the future. I am the IT Manager at Ambiance Help Desk, the music vendor for several IHOP franchises, including Harvest and Romulus. I was instructed by Romulus IT to submit a help desk ticket for Store #[redacted] Route 30 in Greensburg, PA, as they are not using Romulus network equipment. Upon investigation, I discovered that the security cameras were connected to the network port designated for our music player. It is crucial that we go online promptly to resume music services following the COVID-19 suspension. Therefore, I urge someone from Harvest Hospitalities IT to contact the General Manager at the store to relocate our network cable, add a switch to port #5, or adjust the firewall settings on port #6 to match those of port #5. Currently, our music player is disconnected on port #6 and unable to play offline backup music despite a memory reset.

During a visit to an IHOP in Springfield, MO on July 27th, I observed multiple cooks not wearing their masks properly as stated on the door. Despite addressing the issue with the manager, I felt the response was not satisfactory. It's crucial that all staff adhere to the mask policy, especially those handling food. It's disheartening to witness this disregard for safety measures. The situation should be rectified promptly to ensure the health and well-being of both customers and employees.

I have previously reached out regarding issues with an IHOP restaurant. As a DoorDash driver, I consistently face delays with orders not being prepared promptly upon arrival. The lack of staff presence at the front of the store worsens the situation. Despite a small number of people inside, the service is slow. The staff seems unaware of DoorDash orders awaiting pickup. I was informed by an employee about a policy change where DoorDash pickups are now handled at the back, causing extended wait times without proper customer acknowledgment. I suggest that IHOP conducts an audit to address these inefficiencies. I have experienced better service from McDonald's after reporting similar concerns, resulting in faster order readiness upon arrival.

Today, my wife and I visited an IHOP and were given a limited one-page menu, with the better options listed only for after 2 PM. They had a table symbol to scan for the full menu, which unfortunately did not work and was not user-friendly for seniors like us. Frustrated, we decided to leave and went to Denny's where we could easily access a physical menu. Not everyone has or wants to use a smartphone, and IHOP is excluding those customers. This is quite disappointing and not good for business. I won't provide my phone number as requested on the comment form due to the excessive information required.

I had a disappointing experience at the Cherry Hill location. The employee at the door was dismissive when I mentioned the lack of information on the website about calling ahead. She appeared disinterested and rude, mentioning the site cannot be changed. As someone with over 30 years in advertising, I know everything is customizable with the right intent. Her lack of customer care was unacceptable. Despite wanting to try the new pancake options, her attitude and the one-hour wait made me reconsider. With over 45 years in business myself, I am disappointed and will share my experience on social media about IHOP's lack of customer service.

I received an email offering a complimentary thing of pancakes at IHOP. I chose the strawberry banana pancakes. When I tried to use the coupon, the staff member seemed unsure about it. Eventually, I could not get bananas on my pancakes without extra charges. Despite knowing they should not cost extra, I gave up on the bananas. The whole process took 30 minutes, during which the staff member did not communicate well and gave me negative looks. This experience was disrespectful and unprofessional. It happened at the Delray Beach location on Federal Highway. I usually dine there with my family but being treated like this is not acceptable. I might have to consider going to the pancake place next to IHOP instead. Although I like your food, I cannot tolerate disrespect. Please respond to my email at your earliest convenience. I recently visited an IHOP in Delray Beach and ordered the strawberry banana pancakes. My order was supposed to include pancakes with strawberries and bananas inside, topped with fresh bananas, and whipped cream. I specifically asked for the strawberries and whipped cream on the side. Even though the menu stated that bananas were extra, I accepted it. When I received my order, the strawberries and whipped cream were missing, and I only got three pancakes instead of four. Good afternoon, On March 7, [redacted], at 10:45 a.m., I placed an order from location [redacted] Wickham Rd (Viera, FL) via Uber Eats. My driver arrived at 11:45 a.m. I understand that unforeseen situations can occur. Upon opening my boxes, I found the food to be cold, overcooked, and not my order at all. After informing the delivery driver, he contacted IHOP. He then went to get my correct order, which took over an hour. When my food arrived at 12:25 p.m., it was again cold, dry, and completely different from what I had ordered. Several items were missing, including eggs, cheese, hash browns, sour cream, extra onions, and blueberry syrup. Overall, this experience was a disaster, taking two hours to receive unsatisfactory food. I request a prompt investigation and resolution of this issue. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Upon arrival, we were informed of a 30-minute wait for our party of 2. Advised to wait in the car, we didn't receive the promised call. Returning after 30 minutes, we were told of kitchen order issues causing delays. The hostess indicated it could be even longer than the estimated 30 minutes. Requesting to speak to a manager, we learned that seating was possible but food delivery could take over an hour. Priority was given to online orders ahead in the queue. Feeling disregarded for the waitstaff and other patrons, after enduring 45 minutes with my diabetic father, we left in frustration, seeking a more organized dining experience at Cracker Barrel.

I recently went to this restaurant to order takeout. Upon entering, there was no host or cashier present. After waiting for about 5 minutes, a young man with tattoos approached the host podium and acknowledged my presence. He mentioned he would assist the other waiting groups and finally took my order after an additional 5-minute wait. Interestingly, a host appeared at the podium ten minutes later but did not greet or interact with customers, which was off-putting. This lack of welcoming behavior was observed with other parties entering the restaurant as well. Despite several attempts to contact the manager by phone, I was unsuccessful. In the end, I drove back to the restaurant and spoke with the manager, Olga Delgado, regarding the unprofessional behavior of the host, which left a negative impression on visitors like myself. The incident occurred at location #[redacted] on South Padre Island Drive on April 11, [redacted], at 8:45 am.

I placed an order for my mother who couldn't come in, like I usually do. Upon arriving to pick up the order, it wasn't ready because it was mistakenly sent to another location. This has happened before. I expressed my frustration, explaining that it wasn't fair to us if the instructions weren't followed. The order was incorrect, with missing items such as extra gravy and burnt crepes without necessary toppings. For a $34.73 order, we expect it to be correct. The restaurant did not meet the typical IHOP standards, and I noted that the staff were not wearing masks. We've been loyal customers since [redacted], and this experience is unacceptable. It's disappointing that our complaints have been ignored. We are contemplating taking our business elsewhere and may report this to the health commission. All customers deserve respect and accurate service, regardless of being regulars or not.

My daughter and I were excited to grab lunch at our local IHOP which had recently reopened. To our dismay, upon entering, we noticed that over half of the employees were not wearing masks or were wearing them incorrectly. Our waitress even approached our table without a mask on. When I politely asked her to wear a mask, she responded, "I hate those things." I stressed the importance of wearing masks for health reasons, but she flippantly replied, "So I get sick and die!" Shocked by the response, we decided to leave. It was unsettling to see many other staff members without masks properly worn. We quickly requested takeout boxes, settled the bill, and left without any acknowledgment from the restaurant. Unfortunately, this experience has left us with no intention of returning in the future.

My family and I had a disappointing dining experience at IHOP in Kannapolis recently. The service was subpar, starting with incorrect drink orders - my iced tea arrived without ice despite requesting it, and the kids' chocolate milk was lukewarm causing my youngest to dislike it. The situation worsened when my daughter was sick after drinking her milk, and the waiter didn't assist with the mess or offer to relocate us. The food orders were also incorrect - my fried chicken dish was initially served as a sandwich and was burnt, the mashed potatoes were cold and clumpy, and there was no garlic bread as requested. My son received the wrong pancake, and my husband's French toast was cold. To make matters worse, our drinks were never refilled, and my daughter had to share food due to her meal being compromised by the incident. We were left with unsatisfactory food, no drinks, and an uncomfortable dining environment. Despite trying to contact a manager without success, we are requesting a refund as we have no intention of returning to IHOP anytime soon.

I dined at the IHOP located at [redacted] N Telshor in Las Cruces, New Mexico on April 24, [redacted], and returned two weeks later on May 5, [redacted]. Upon entering the restaurant, I noticed a strong methane gas odor that was not present in the bathrooms or outside. I must mention this potential hazard as it could lead to ill employees. Despite this issue, the service at this IHOP has always been exceptional, and I appreciate that they seat me away from the front. I particularly enjoy this location as they understand how to cook an over-medium egg properly. Methane is flammable, and I urge management to address this matter promptly to prevent any accidents. Also, I kindly request that they bring back the Garlic Butter Cheeseburger. Thank you.
