I recently e-filed my [redacted] IRS Form [redacted] through Bailey Business Systems in Bridgeport, WV. Upon receiving my SSI deposit, I noticed it was $[redacted] less than usual. After contacting the social security office, I learned the IRS had deducted this amount due to a tax levy. Surprisingly, when I checked the IRS website, it showed my tax return hadn't been processed. Bailey Business Systems confirmed they had filed our joint return electronically, which the IRS accepted. However, there was no official notification of the levy on my social security or any mail from the IRS. My spouse hasn't worked in over two decades, and I'm nearing 70, still working to make ends meet. It's crucial to resolve this discrepancy promptly to ensure the correct SSI amount is deposited into my account every month.

I filed my tax return on March 27, [redacted], and I have not yet received my refund. It has been over 21 days since I received a notification stating that my taxes are under review. I am eager to know when I can expect my refund. Additionally, I have a query regarding the stimulus payments for dependents. I have been caring for my sister since June as her legal guardian. The individuals who previously cared for her for a year are receiving the stimulus money for her, but I believe it rightfully belongs to her for her needs, including school expenses. Is there a way to ensure the funds go to her instead? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Good morning, my name is Frances B. I have been attempting to reach someone urgently without success regarding my EIP payments. I received payments number one and three, but not number two. Despite numerous unsuccessful phone call attempts, I spoke to an EIP customer service representative who advised me to complete an address change form and submit it. Unfortunately, there has been no response. The issue arose when my EIP payment was mistakenly mailed to my old address, returned to the IRS by the post office. Although I provided all the required documentation for reissuance to the correct address or bank account on file, I have not received the payment. Upon reviewing my tax documents, the missing payment was not included in my [redacted] taxes. I urgently need the money to be reissued as I never received it due to the address error. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I recently received a direct deposit of $1,[redacted] from the IRS which I believe was my stimulus payment. Unfortunately, my bank deducted the payment as I had a negative balance without my consent. I had been negotiating a payment plan with them and needed the funds for rent. Despite my efforts, the bank has refused to return the money. I was under the impression that stimulus payments were not meant to be seized for payments. Is there a way to retrieve the funds from my account and have it sent to me instead? I am in urgent need of that money and the bank's actions have hindered my ability to make ends meet.

I received a direct deposit of $1,[redacted] from the IRS. I believe this is related to my stimulus payment. Unfortunately, my bank took the deposit because I was in a negative balance. I explained to them that this money was not meant for payment, and I was in the process of arranging a payment plan with them. I urgently need that money to pay my rent, but the bank refuses to return it. Is there a way to have the funds retrieved from that account and sent to me instead? I was under the impression that stimulus payments should not be used for repayment. I recently updated my direct deposit details with the IRS, so I am unsure why it was sent to the old account.

I suspect that my Social Security number has been compromised. My taxes were filed, but I can't find any information on the IRS website under my name. I had my mother refile them but still had no luck. When I tried to access my transcripts, it showed the information was incorrect. Setting up a Social Security account also failed due to mismatched data. I'm facing issues with my unemployment application from December [redacted] as well. I feel lost and unsure of what to do next. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. - D.L. Recently discharged from bankruptcy and looking to request waiving the balance of personal income taxes with the IRS. I had been making monthly payments on the Installment Payment Plan since October **, ****, but still struggling to keep up. Seeking to have the entire balance waived or explore an Offer in Compromise to pay a percentage of the due amount. Any assistance in navigating this issue is appreciated. Thank you.

I utilized H&R Block's online tax filing service with a tax pro review for my [redacted] tax return. Unfortunately, some of my information was altered without my consent, leading to my tax refund being withheld due to identity theft concerns. I am now seeking a free tax software option to submit the correct information and recover my refund. I would appreciate the IRS reaching out via email to provide guidance on how to rectify this issue and advise me on potential actions against both the tax professional and H&R Block. Presently, I lack certain documentation for identity verification, and even if available, my refund would be directed to H&R Block instead of me. Furthermore, despite expecting a state refund, I am now required to make a payment. I believe that H&R Block should cover my tax liability and fulfill the promised refund. H&R Block has been unresponsive, so I am relying on the IRS to assist me in resolving this matter.

I submitted my taxes on Tax Day through free file, thinking it would be quick and easy. Unfortunately, at the very end, the online preparers informed me that I couldn't e-file. Despite having earned $0 for the year, I am unable to e-file. I have my federal and state returns saved on my computer, but I'm hesitant to mail them because I've heard it may take longer for the IRS to process paper returns. I really need my Golden State stimulus check, which I haven't received yet. It seems I won't get it until I file my taxes. Should I just mail them in and wait, or is there a quicker way for the IRS to process them? It's frustrating dealing with this, especially when I have no income to report for the year.

Good afternoon, I have a question about the Advanced Child Tax Credit. According to your website, a $[redacted] deposit was supposed to be made via Direct Deposit on 7/15/[redacted]. I noticed that it states on the website that the amount was deposited, but I am unsure if it was mailed instead. I recently changed my address and did not update it with the IRS as all my information is set up for direct deposit. Despite forwarding my mail with USPS since mid-June, some of my mail is still missing, and I have not received any checks or deposits. I called the IRS on 7/28/[redacted] and was told to fill out a [redacted] refund trace sheet indicating the missing payment and my new address, which I did. I then received confirmation that the IRS received the form, but I have not received any updates or deposits. What should my next steps be? Thank you.

I gave my girlfriend $[redacted] on her expired Netspend card, and she had to order a new one for her monthly disability check. I know you can transfer the $[redacted] stimulus check to her new card. It's not fair that others receive help but she can't. I will provide my email for a response. Also, my girlfriend, Angie M., did not receive the $[redacted] for our daughter, Janice M., when others did. This is unfair. Child support took my first $[redacted] stimulus check, and I should receive a catch-up payment like others did. I am Ray U., and I request fair assistance.

I submitted my [redacted] Federal Tax Return on April 4, [redacted], and the IRS acknowledged receiving it on April 7, [redacted]. I have been patiently waiting for over 16 weeks now. Despite multiple attempts, I have been unable to reach the IRS for an update. My current situation is dire, facing eviction due to unpaid rent. This could potentially leave my children and me without a home, with utilities at risk of disconnection. I am four months behind on rent. The delay in processing my refund is causing immense financial strain. I urgently need assistance to expedite my Federal Tax Refund to prevent homelessness and maintain stability for my family. Your help in resolving this matter promptly would be greatly appreciated.

I recently received an IRS identity verification letter due to not working for a while and filing a tax return. The letter instructs me to verify online, but I lack the required information. I have my social security card and birth certificate to prove my identity, along with a job and my own place. I have tried calling the provided number without success to resolve this and receive my tax refund. How can I make an appointment at the IRS office to verify my identity? I am seeking assistance on how to proceed with verifying my identity for my tax return.

I misplaced my [redacted] W-2 form and I've been struggling to get a copy to file my taxes. Target instructed me to contact Paperless Employee, but I can't remember my password and the email to reset it is outdated. I've attempted to reach Paperless Employee multiple times but have only encountered automated responses. Despite contacting Target, including the HR department and managers, they couldn't assist me since they don't have access to W-2 forms. This delay has caused me to miss out on recent financial benefits, impacting my current unemployment situation. I urgently need help retrieving my W-2 form. Please, reach out to me at my cellphone [redacted]) [redacted] or via email at [redacted] Thank you, Caitlin B.

My name is Belinda Buchanan. I currently reside at [redacted] East Hwy 22, previously I lived at [redacted] Eagle Lane, both in Panama City, FL. I filed my taxes in February and completed the identity verification in April after receiving a notice to do so. However, it has been 10 weeks since then and I have not received my refund yet. The online status still shows it as "being processed" and I have been unable to reach anyone over the phone. Considering my change of address, I am unsure if more information is needed. This delay is also affecting my stimulus checks. I am currently facing homelessness, sleeping in my vehicle after being evicted due to financial difficulties. Please investigate my case and provide an update on when I can expect my refund.

Subject: [redacted] Refund Check of $[redacted] IRS Management Team, I appreciate your assistance regarding the recent $[redacted] refund check. Due to the ongoing mobility restrictions caused by COVID-19, I encountered difficulties depositing the check. Despite attempting to send it via Postal Service, it unfortunately did not reach its destination. To avoid any further complications or potential loss, I kindly request that the refund be directly deposited into my bank account, similar to the process followed for the second check. Previous attempts to reach the IRS via phone were unsuccessful due to high call volumes. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Warm regards, Bogdan R. ID: 074xx5083

I gathered my W-2s from several employers to file my [redacted] taxes. Unfortunately, after my vehicle was broken into and some items were taken, including a laptop case with the documents, I lost them. I tried to have the IRS send replacements to my previous address at Pioneer Fellowship House but missed them before moving. Pioneer Fellowship House couldn't promise to hold the mail for non-residents, and it was returned to sender. Now, with a new secure address, I'm hoping to receive my W-2s there. Thank you. email: [redacted]

There is an error in the estimated tax paid in my [redacted] for [redacted]. I mistakenly sent the Federal estimated payment for one quarter to the Massachusetts DOR (the check was written to the US Treasury) and they deposited it towards my Massachusetts [redacted] tax bill. Similarly, the Massachusetts estimated payment (made out to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts) was sent to the IRS, and it appears to have been processed. The IRS estimated payment was larger than the Massachusetts DOR check, hence my refund should be adjusted by the difference in the amounts. I anticipate still receiving a refund. I am unsure of the specific quarter this occurred, but can investigate further if necessary. Should I await the IRS to rectify this simple error or should I submit an amended return? I have resolved the matter with the Massachusetts DOR but have not yet received my federal refund. Thank you. Nathan L.

I had my [redacted] taxes completed by Liberty Tax, though I usually use TurboTax Online. The person who prepared my taxes didn't include all of my deductions, resulting in me owing over 4K to the IRS. After realizing this mistake, I filed an amended return and made partial payments, which Liberty Tax accepted. However, I recently received a letter threatening to levy my assets, as they are applying my payments to this year's estimated taxes instead of my amended return. I want to ensure that my payments go towards my [redacted] amended taxes, and I need the IRS to acknowledge my amended return. Thank you. Mike
