I purchased a Lazy Phone and Tablet Holder voucher from Living Social. The voucher indicated a price of 8.99 euros plus 4.99 euros for postage, totaling 13.98 euros. I didn't redeem it due to a failure, but the item was still delivered by the seller, Top Good Chain, within three weeks. However, upon checking my PayPal account, I noticed they charged me a total of 59.96 euros, overcharging me by 45.98 euros. Despite emailing the agent multiple times, they never provided an explanation for the overcharge. I reached out to Living Social and Top Good Chain, who directed me to Wowcher, but they were not listed on the receipt. I felt they were evading responsibility. I had no issues redeeming other vouchers from Living Social with different dealers. Invoice: [redacted]9. Transaction: 6K097670EN[redacted]. - Anthony C.

Hello Living Social Customer Service Team, Order Reference: [redacted]7 I am extremely disappointed with the service I received while placing an order with you. You promptly processed my payment and advised me that the delivery was expected by June 17, [redacted]. As of today (July 30, [redacted]), I have neither received my order nor been refunded. Rather than assisting me, you have directed me to contact the delivery company, Hermes. Unfortunately, after multiple attempts, I have been unable to reach Hermes, and when I did connect after a long wait, I was abruptly disconnected. This has been the most frustrating purchasing experience I have ever encountered. In the past, I have ordered from vendors worldwide without issues. Please promptly issue a refund to the same account from which the payment was deducted. Thank you. Harshida Shah

Dear Customer Service, I have been a loyal customer for a long time. Recently, my girlfriend gifted me a Living Social West Coast Exotics Group 3 lap experience for my birthday. However, I have been encountering issues trying to book the Hollywood location online for over two weeks without success. Despite leaving multiple messages, I received no response until I sent an email. They informed me that the Hollywood location is under construction and unavailable. I provided them with the item number and expressed my desire to sign up for the Hollywood location but was offered alternatives in Sebring and Orlando, which are not feasible for me due to the long distances involved. As we selected the experience based on the Hollywood location's proximity to our home in Davie, FL, we feel misled and would like a refund. Sincerely, Thomas

I purchased a $[redacted] voucher for Lavande Spa, but later canceled it. When canceling, $65 in deal bucks were credited back to my account, and the remaining $94 was refunded to my checking account, which was correct. However, I encountered issues with my credit card details on the site, despite using a laptop. The site falsely indicated a problem with my credit card; however, it worked during the second attempt. Nevertheless, on 8/27, the full $[redacted] was charged to my checking account, and now I have an active voucher I no longer want. I wish to receive a refund for the $[redacted] as I cancelled my order within 24 hours. Thank you, Laurel.

I bought a voucher on May 11, [redacted], for a one-hour massage at The Royal Grandeur in Pooler, SC, costing $44. I tried contacting the business six times by phone, but each call went to voicemail without any business identification, only repeating the phone number. Despite leaving messages, I never received a response. The voucher expired on September 7th, showing it was redeemed on that date, which I did not do. I am seeking a credit of $44 for the unused voucher.

I am disappointed that Mia's Lash Lab did not honor the voucher I bought through your company with voucher number [redacted]. Despite my attempts to contact Mia Rutherford for a refund due to her unresponsiveness towards setting up an appointment, the issue persists. I initially reached out to Living Social in August, but the refund period had lapsed. Following this, I tried contacting Mia yesterday via phone and text, only to receive no proper response as she denies her association with Living Social. Ms. Rutherford has now vaguely reached out on 9/23, but her unwillingness to address the situation appropriately is concerning. I am currently unemployed and purchased the voucher to connect with a younger crowd, influenced by recommendations from Mia's mother. Regrettably, I now seek a refund instead of credit. Furthermore, Mia's presence on Groupon requires attention given her dubious behavior. I am left with no choice but to escalate this matter to the BBB. Kindly process a refund promptly. Thank you. Elizabeth H.

I am writing to address the issue with my Living Social purchase made on September 27, [redacted], with order number 1[redacted]58-[redacted]. The voucher I bought for a smog check wrongly states the service location as Larkspur, CA when it is actually in Santee, CA. This error has caused inconvenience as it is far from my location. I request a full refund or credit due to this mistake. The contact number on the voucher, [redacted], was unreachable. After contacting Magnolia Smog Station directly, I learned that the location is indeed in Santee, CA, confirming the error. I am unable to transfer the voucher as I have already viewed it. I urge you to issue a refund or credit promptly. Voucher Number: VS-B3JG-KZ3R-4WJV-KV7. Sincerely, L. Abernathey

I had a disappointing experience with Livingsocial UK regarding my recent order. I made a purchase on November 10th with a promised delivery date of November 12th. However, as of today, November 23rd, I have yet to receive my items. I contacted them via Whatsapp on November 16th and spoke with Sam, who mentioned a delay but assured me it was resolved. The details of my order are as follows: Order No: [redacted], Item No: [redacted]3, No No Ladies Shaver, Voucher Code: M4YC39-TTVEQ4, priced at £22.99. Secondly, Item No: [redacted]2, Wahl grooming kit, Voucher Code: MEVxVG-WCYDK9, priced at £12.99. Lastly, Item No: [redacted]4, a 10pc marble makeup brush set, which I have received. I have attempted to reach out to Wahl and ICTV Brands, as advised on the vouchers, but have not made progress. According to Derma Wand, who also works with ICTV, the goods should come directly from Livingsocial. I have paid for the items and postage and am at a loss. The lack of communication and conflicting information are frustrating and causing me great annoyance. I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you.

I have been attempting for days to resolve this. I bought a set of four pillows from Livingsocial for £9.99, but I have not yet received them. I have an email confirming my payment. The situation is incredibly frustrating. Strangely, a mystery gift I bought through Livingsocial has the same code as the pillow receipt. This mix-up is confusing, but I can provide evidence. I am desperate for my pillows as I suffer from back pain and need them urgently. Please assist me. Thank you.

I purchased a $97 voucher for gutter cleaning on September 27th. In November, I contacted the business to book an appointment, but was informed that the company is based in Atlanta, Georgia, while I reside in Portland, Oregon. Therefore, I would like a refund for voucher #[redacted] as I cannot utilize their services. I have tried contacting the company multiple times during their business hours, but only received a closed office message. Kindly process my refund promptly. If necessary, feel free to reach out to me. - Joan C. B. [Redacted]

I have a confirmed booking for a gifted 2-night B&B stay at An Grainne for the 20th of Feb [redacted]. However, when trying to book another room for myself, it shows as sold out, and changing the date isn't an option as I need to be with my disabled sister-in-law on that specific date. The hotel has confirmed the availability for a disabled room but informed me to contact you for booking. Your assistance in securing the additional room on the same date would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help. Sincerely, Geraldine M.

I bought an iPad 2 as a gift but when we finally opened it, we discovered it has an outdated operating system that cannot be updated. The merchant won't refund us due to their 30-day return policy. However, the product details did not mention the operating system, leading us to believe it was up-to-date. I feel the item is not fit for its intended purpose. I would appreciate Living Social's opinion on the merchant's behavior and if they could assist in getting a refund for this issue.

Hello, I purchased a voucher on LivingSocial's website on December 24th. After the purchase, the money was deducted from my account, but I did not receive a confirmation email. I am unable to view the voucher or access an order number, which is needed when trying to communicate with someone through WhatsApp chat. I would greatly appreciate assistance in accessing the voucher or obtaining a full refund. Thank you, Danielle.

I contacted Living Social through WhatsApp about my order [redacted]. I spoke with someone named Sledon who informed me that my voucher had expired and a refund was not possible. I requested to see my voucher, which indicated it expired on December 27. I purchased the curling tongs on November 29 and paid an additional £9.99 toward the voucher via PayPal on the same day. Despite providing this information, the representative continued to insist that the voucher had expired and could not assist me further. This situation has really ruined my day. My only desire is to receive the curling iron that I purchased.

I bought a voucher for a year's supply of turmeric for £22.99. However, when I attempted to redeem it, I encountered issues with the transaction. Despite the payment going through PayPal, the deal didn't reflect in my Wowcher wallet. I proceeded to make a second order, but during checkout, I noticed it was for only four months instead of a year. The first order number is 4[redacted] with voucher code MSE4PX – XARAPD. The second order number is 4[redacted] with voucher code SF4HEX – AJYD5R. I am seeking a refund for the initial order and clarification that the second order is indeed for a full year's supply. Thank you. Norma R.

I made an error with my email address while trying to obtain a voucher for a special anniversary and birthday celebration at The Inn of Loch Lomond. Unfortunately, due to only one bedroom being available this week, my wife had to return to Northern Ireland for grandchild childcare, and I am unable to join her due to work commitments with the NHS in Scotland. We were not able to make contact with Living Social to rectify the situation and had to quickly book another hotel. The correct email address is [redacted], not [redacted] I kindly request a full refund or credit for a future deal as a resolution. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, James Lawrie

I purchased 4 sets of pillows for £9.99 each and 2 duvets on a deal in December. I received the duvets but never got the pillows, despite being charged for them as per my bank statement. I have contacted your company four to five times without any resolution. I am 79 years old and can't afford to be missing out on the pillows I paid for. It's frustrating not getting any response to my emails or texts. I hope this issue can be resolved promptly as I shouldn't have to wait so long for a refund since Christmas. I look forward to hearing back from your company soon.

I recently booked a 2-day trip to Iceland through Living Social online. My account was charged immediately after reviewing all the details and proceeding with the booking on Friday, January 14th. On Monday, January 17th, while I was at work, I received a call from a company called Deal of The Day regarding my trip. They informed me there were no 2-day breaks available from Manchester for the date we booked, only 3-day breaks. Despite my attempts to explain that we couldn't change the dates, they proceeded to make three unauthorized charges to my account on behalf of Jetline Holidays, Living Social, and Easy Jest. I was also disappointed to learn that the room booked had shared facilities instead of private ones and no window as originally promised. When I requested a refund due to these discrepancies, the customer service representative from Deal of The Day was uncooperative, claiming I couldn't cancel. I believe I am entitled to a refund based on the changes to the travel dates and accommodations. I have been trying to reach out to Deal of the Day without success, and Living Social's phone line diverts to a closed voicemail due to the pandemic. I seek guidance on how I can obtain a refund for the total amount of £[redacted].51.

I scheduled 3 hours of house cleaning with Cozy Maid for Friday, March 18, and provided my credit card information. Unfortunately, no one came to clean. I received a call from a lady who said the company might be a scam, as they try to get job requests from different agencies without proper background checks. Although I was offered Groupon credits as a refund, I prefer to receive a full refund to my credit card. Additionally, I recommend discontinuing business with this merchant since they lack a phone number or address, which raises suspicions of potential scam activity. The voucher number for reference is VS-K3RH-KF5B-HC1W-K5V1.

On the 15th of March [redacted], I purchased a Microsoft Office Activation key through Topfastkeys on your website. After receiving an email link from Topfastkeys to download Office [redacted], I found the link to be non-functional. Despite numerous attempts to contact Topfastkeys via phone and email, I have not received any response. Given this lack of communication, I am requesting a refund to my Barclaycard for the amount paid via your site. The ongoing automated response system via Whatsapp has been circular, delays in response have exceeded a week, and the issue remains unresolved. I am attaching a copy of the receipt for reference, which includes Order Number [redacted]6 under the name Charles Bradley. I anticipate a prompt resolution in the form of a refund for the undelivered product. Thank you.
