I filed my claim on March 29, [redacted], and it's now November, but I have yet to receive any benefits. Despite claiming weekly, I keep getting a message that my benefits are not payable at this time. I've been diligent in making calls and sending emails but only to be redirected and told to wait for weeks. After finally having a monetary interview on November 12, I was informed that everything would be sorted out and I would be moved to PUA. However, the next day when I tried to claim, I faced the same issue and now my claim is inactive. Desperately in need of assistance as I am currently homeless, living in my car, and unable to access any funds. I'm at a loss and seeking guidance on how to expedite the process to receive my benefits under PUA quickly.

Back in March [redacted], I applied for unemployment benefits due to the impact of the pandemic. After receiving government stimulus checks and some unemployment payments, I began working at Amazon in April. However, in August, I resigned due to issues with how I was treated regarding my health concerns. Following a phone interview about leaving Amazon, I was approved for ongoing unemployment benefits. Despite working part-time and reporting my hours, I have only been receiving a minimal $8 payment since August, and I have not received the additional benefits promised. This has put me in a difficult financial situation, and I am seeking guidance on what steps I should take next.

As a single mother who is self-employed, my last day worked was on March 9, [redacted]. Despite multiple attempts, I was only able to file a claim in the system effective June 13th, with Sunday, June 14th as the first day to certify for benefits. Up until now, I have not received any retroactive PUA benefits from my last day of work or any adjustment to the minimum unemployment amount for self-employed individuals ($[redacted] per week). Additionally, I have not received any retroactive FPUC benefits under the CARES Act. Despite my efforts to contact NJ unemployment services and reach out to local media and government officials, I have not received any assistance. I have been patient thus far, but the situation is becoming increasingly difficult to manage. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and assistance. Sincerely, N.R.

After certifying my benefits last Tuesday (11/17), I discovered that my remaining balance of $4,[redacted] had been depleted when I attempted to certify again today. I am bewildered and frustrated by this sudden change, especially during Thanksgiving week when I relied on these funds to provide for my family. Despite my efforts to contact the relevant authorities, I have not been able to reach anyone for clarification. I wonder if the issue stems from the duration of my original claim, which began over a year ago. Would initiating a new claim be necessary to recover the missing $4,[redacted]? Your attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, R.C. SSN: xxx-xx-[redacted] DOB: 12/11/[redacted]

I have been attempting to reach out to someone since April regarding my claim issue. It was finally processed in July, but inaccurately. They backdated it to November, but the amount received is incorrect. They are asking me to reclaim weeks that I have already claimed. I urgently need to speak with a representative as I cannot risk owing money due to their system errors. The situation needs immediate resolution as waiting several more months is not acceptable. I have been trying to get in touch since April with no success.

I have been waiting for my Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) for almost six months. Initially, my unemployment payments were being deposited on my debit card, but they stopped suddenly. I completed all the required paperwork as instructed by the office, and I was informed that everything was in order to receive my PUA payments including the backdated amounts. Despite speaking to multiple representatives who assured me that the payments would be deposited within a week, nothing has happened yet. I am in urgent need of assistance with this matter. I have reached out to the Governor of NJ as well, and I am currently awaiting a response from their office.

I submitted my claim for unemployment benefits, but I have not received any funds on my unemployment card or account yet. When I checked my status, it shows as filed. I received an email from an adjudication department after filing my claim and I have also submitted my application. I got another email stating that it can take up to 4 weeks for the processing. I have been waiting for my unemployment benefits for nearly ten months. Although I had some password issues in the past, I was able to recover it. However, now it is saying my claims need to be reviewed.

Hello, I'm Alexis Burk. I am inquiring about the status of my Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) application. Despite receiving a letter stating I might qualify for PUA, I have not been notified in the past 10 weeks. When certifying for weekly benefits, I keep getting a message saying they are not payable and to contact the unemployment call center, which I have been unable to reach. I've tried calling multiple times and left messages online, all to no avail. I have been out of work due to COVID-19, and the financial support is crucial for me and my daughter. The assistance I should have received amounts to approximately $[redacted]-$[redacted], alleviating our financial strain. Any help to resolve this issue promptly would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention. Warm regards, A. B.

I have not received payments from NJ Unemployment for over a month now. Despite my regular self-certification, the website keeps showing an error message. Upon checking my account, I did not find any messages indicating a scheduled appointment or any issues that could lead to this error. I had a substantial amount remaining in my Unemployment Insurance, which I am unable to access. I am seeking guidance on the necessary steps to resolve this issue and receive the overdue payments from the past month and a half.

Hello, I am a New Jersey resident. Earlier this year, I applied for PUA assistance through NJ DOL and was granted it as a gig worker impacted by the pandemic. However, since July when the website changed, I have been unable to collect my unemployment. The system shows I have funds available, but I keep receiving an error message when certifying for benefits. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you in advance for your assistance!

I am experiencing issues with my claim submissions. Upon receiving a confirmation number, the message states "not payable at this time." I recently received a letter allowing me to claim benefits, but I have not yet received any payments. I lack the necessary information to initiate payment reception. Despite sending various emails, I have not received a response. Additionally, I have been unable to reach anyone by phone for assistance.

I submitted a claim on 11/01. However, when I attempted to claim my benefits a week later as instructed, it showed as expired without any explanation. Now, each time I try to file a new claim, it tells me I already have an existing one. I have not returned to work since being laid off due to lack of work. I have been struggling without any income for months now. The system's errors are causing me to go hungry, unable to afford basic necessities. I have tried reaching out for help, but all I receive are messages to call back tomorrow. How many tomorrows must pass before someone suffers from hunger?

I applied for Unemployment in November [redacted] with Claim ID [redacted]07. After undergoing knee surgery on February 1, [redacted], I transitioned to Disability while still unemployed. Despite being returned to Unemployment on August 1, I have not received any payments beyond that point. In early October, I was instructed over the phone to reopen my unemployment claim and certify after a week. However, my attempts to certify have been unsuccessful. Despite sending letters and forms to resolve the issue, I have not been able to certify. In frustration, I even submitted a new claim with Confirmation #NJS[redacted]2 dated 11/29/20. With a family of five depending on this assistance, going four months without any unemployment benefits has been incredibly challenging. Please assist me with resolving this issue promptly. My contact number is [redacted].

I was recently laid off due to COVID-19 and have been without income for two months since September. I was scheduled for a claims examiner appointment on December 4, [redacted], but did not receive the call. I also responded to an e-adjudication email on October 14, [redacted], and have not heard back. When attempting to call, I am instructed to try again the next business day and cannot get through. My children and I are facing financial hardship, and I believe I qualify for CARES Act pandemic benefits. My unemployment was halted because I indicated I was attending school, but I am actually taking free GED classes, not funded by the state. I urgently need assistance as it is now December 5, [redacted], and I have not received any updates. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am experiencing difficulties when applying for unemployment benefits online. Despite entering all my information accurately, I am encountering security and authentication issues, particularly when adding my direct deposit bank details. The application stalls at this point, prompting a message to contact the DOL due to security concerns. However, I have been unable to reach anyone at the DOL through calls. I am seeking guidance on how to proceed with my online application under these circumstances, as my financial situation is becoming increasingly dire. Thank you, Rajendra S.

I have been waiting for my benefits since the pandemic began in March. Despite several months passing, I have yet to receive anything. The status changed from pending to filed in August and has not changed since then. The total balance paid shows as $0, and while I can claim each week, the payments remain pending until the filed claim is accepted. I am uncertain why the claim status has not been updated or approved since August. I am unsure if the problem lies on my end or with the system. I am willing to do whatever is necessary to resolve this issue. Thank you.

While certifying for my weekly benefits back in October [redacted], I accidentally answered a question incorrectly, which led to a claim being opened. Following my response to the claim, I was informed via email that a letter would be sent to me detailing the decision on my eligibility for weekly benefits. However, it has been nearly two months, and I have yet to receive this letter. Unfortunately, I have been unable to get through to anyone via telephone. I am eager to speak with someone regarding the status of my decision as I have not received any funds since October [redacted].
