Hello, recently my account was functioning well until I noticed that I was unexpectedly logged out of the app on my iPhone. Typically, I remain logged in due to selecting that preference on my phone. Upon attempting to log back in, I changed my password as a precaution, suspecting unauthorized access. However, I was surprised to find a message indicating that my account had been disabled. As a new user who recently joined and had successful sales and positive feedback, I am confused by this action. I was following all guidelines diligently. I urgently need to access my account to continue selling my items. Kindly reinstate my account promptly. Thank you for your quick assistance.

I recently sent an item via USPS and it was checked in later that day. However, upon returning home, I received an email stating the transaction was cancelled, funds were withdrawn, and I was charged $12. The buyer has received the item, but my inquiries have not been responded to adequately. I was only provided with a tracking number showing delivery and then told my claim was closed due to lack of "further information," without details on what was missing. This is affecting my teenager son's business negatively as he refurbished and sold the item himself. I would appreciate a prompt resolution to ensure my son receives payment for his work. I was blocked from this platform without any explanation. I have requested assistance numerous times without a response regarding the issue at hand. After being informed that my account could not be found with my initial email, I provided an alternative ([redacted]) and only received communication at a different address ([redacted]) when one of my listings was removed without an explanation. Despite my good reputation and adherence to guidelines, I remain blocked without a clear reason. I recently received a notice stating a refund was issued to my buyer for non-delivery, but I had already shipped the package. Despite a delay, the package was en route to the buyer when the refund was processed. After contacting USPS, I learned that the package was misplaced, then located and held due to a labeling error. The buyer has since received the item, and I am concerned about receiving payment. I would like clarification on when I can expect to be paid and what steps I need to take to ensure compensation. The unnecessary refund has left me anxious about payment. I have not been informed about the refund process, and I seek reassurance on the timing of the correct payment. Thank you.

I experienced an issue recently where I received a "forbidden" error message and discovered that my account was disabled unexpectedly. Despite multiple attempts to reset my password, I have been unsuccessful. Unfortunately, I had no option but to create a new account. Sadly, this resulted in the loss of all my 5-star ratings as both a seller and buyer. After nearly nine months, I have not received any responses regarding buying or selling. I then realized that the messages in my new account lack the double check marks indicating if they have been read or received, unlike my disabled account. I would greatly appreciate help in recovering my original account before it is permanently lost. Thank you for any assistance provided.

I urgently need assistance. I signed up on OfferUp to sell items, but have never actually sold anything on the platform, either locally or through shipping. Due to a mistake, I accidentally marked all my listings as sold. I prefer buying locally on OfferUp but have faced numerous issues with the nationwide shipping service. Please, do not send me any tax forms or record of sales as I have not conducted any transactions. I recently closed a listing for a Pepsi machine that is still unsold. I had to involve Mr. Garnett, your attorney, and the Washington State Attorney General in a previous issue. My name is Carl Swartz, and I am a registered seller. I'm trying to understand why my account and $[redacted] order were canceled on this site. I frequently buy and sell here. If I got reported, it was likely by a scammer. The site has many scammers who ask for payment through methods other than the site, claiming they can't use their cards. For the past week, while trying to buy an Oculus 2, all responses I received were scams. They pretend not to be able to add their card and ask for payment through different channels. I reported around 20 scammers and now I'm blocked. Finally, I found a genuine seller for the Oculus and my order for my son was canceled. I'm frustrated as I already informed him about it. I have around [redacted] items listed for sale, but I can't access any of them now. It's disappointing that my order was canceled without a valid reason.

I recently began selling on OfferUp and was starting to get the hang of it. I listed multiple items yesterday, and most of them were sold. However, late last night, I received a message from OfferUp stating that my account was closed with no explanation provided. I reviewed the list of violations that could lead to an account closure, and I did not breach any of the terms. I have two buyers scheduled to pick up their items on Friday, April 1, and I am concerned that they will not be informed. I also signed up for the Promote Plus program, spending over $20. I would like a refund for this charge on my credit card. It's distressing to experience this, especially when I have never engaged in any illegal activities in my 69 years of life. I have already informed OfferUp about the buyers scheduled for Friday and provided their names and emails. I will not use OfferUp in the future, but it's vital that they contact these individuals promptly. Thank you.

On April 16, [redacted], when I was creating a new post for a VHS, I encountered an issue with the shipping section not providing me with the option to ship. Despite having shipped multiple VHS tapes previously without any problems, this time, the item seemed unavailable for shipping. I decided to start over and repost the item successfully. Subsequently, after posting five new items, I became concerned when I noticed a lack of views on my posts. Typically, I receive around 10 to 15 views within the first few minutes. Upon checking my profile, I realized that the items were not appearing there, and even a search did not display them. Interestingly, I could only see the items under the selling option within the app. When I shared one of the items with a friend, they were able to view it; however, the item remained invisible on my profile and in searches. I've attempted troubleshooting steps like changing networks, restarting my phone, logging in and out of OfferUp, and even uninstalling the app, but the issue persists.

I have eight mattresses listed on Offerup, but they are not visible to potential buyers. Usually, after posting an item, it should show options to "sell faster" and "share," but mine only display "share." When it only shows "share," the listing cannot be viewed by the public, which is negatively impacting my sales. I've tried turning my phone off and on, deleting and reinstalling the app, but the issue persists. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Diedra.

I am unable to log in because it indicates that I have been banned. I am also unable to create a new account. Despite sending numerous emails to OfferUp, I have not received any response from them. I was never informed about being banned or given a reason for it. I have not violated any rules. I would like to regain access to my old account or be able to create a new one. Even though it states that I am banned, I am still receiving messages about items, which is confusing.

I made a purchase from a seller on OfferUp. The transaction was done through Zelle. Despite the seller not finding one pair of pants included in the bundle and substituting it with another pair, I declined the replacement. However, the seller insisted on finalizing the sale without taking care of the missing item or the shipping fee. I requested a refund but was told the sale was final. To my disappointment, I haven't received any items, even after communication and payment through Zelle. I possess evidence of the payment made through Zelle and have the seller's contact details. I'm disappointed with the experience and would like to have this issue resolved and the seller removed from OfferUp.

I sold a shipping container to Carmelo L. on May 4, [redacted], for $2,[redacted]. He paid a $[redacted] deposit, planning to pay the remaining $2,[redacted] in cash upon pickup. Carmelo messaged me on Sunday, May 15, at 9:52 am to arrange for pickup, but I didn't see it until 11:30 am. By then, his driver had already taken the container. Despite promising to pay the balance later that day, he never showed up and is now ignoring my messages. I am considering filing a police report and need his address for this. Can anyone assist me in this matter?

I sent $[redacted].00 to purchase items from a seller. She marked the items as sold, and I waited for transaction information from May 20th until May 24th. However, she did not send the items and provided various illogical reasons. She even suggested canceling my payment, which I told her only she could do. Despite this, she did not cancel the sale. Initially, she claimed to have shipped the purchase and provided a tracking number. Later, she said the item was returned to her, contradicting the tracking information from May 25th. Now, the tracking number is invalid, and OfferUp debited the funds from my account. I am unsure of the scam she is attempting, but I demand an immediate refund.

I have reached out to OfferUp Support with Request number [redacted]9, but I would like to provide more details on my current issue. Recently, I have encountered a problem where I am unable to reply to two sellers I had just messaged. One of the sellers seems to be unaware of this situation, which is giving the impression that I am ignoring them. I am confused about why this restriction occurred as I have been engaging and purchasing items on the platform without any problems. I want to understand what led to this restriction to prevent it from happening in the future. My goal is to regain the ability to send messages and to receive clarity on the cause of this restriction. I purchased a [redacted] Toyota Prius over Memorial Day weekend. The car was advertised as being in excellent condition with low miles. Despite the seller's claims of no warning lights or issues, the dashboard lights started coming on shortly after I bought it. Now, less than two days later, the car won't move at all. I have tried to reach out to the seller politely to discuss the issues, but he has not responded. I suspect he may be selling cars on OfferUp and not disclosing all the necessary information. I had to tow the car to a Toyota dealership to diagnose the problem.

Someone reached out to buy my truck and asked to pay by check. Initially agreed, then asked me to put a "sold" sign on the truck before payment. After several excuses, a check arrived three weeks late along with a request for an extra $[redacted] for movers, which I converted to gift cards as he requested. Promised delivery delays ensued, and he then asked for more money. Refusing, he demanded a refund and claimed I owed him back the money I had remaining. Despite his actions, he canceled the deal when I didn’t agree to lend him additional funds. Wondering if I am legally obligated to return the money.

I recently bought a Gerrard 44m record player from a seller named Beetle who listed it online a month ago in San Antonio, Texas. Beetle lives in Alamo, Texas, and has been a member since [redacted]. Initially, I tried the Buy It Now button, but it didn't work. After using the ask button to offer $20, he declined. I then used the make an offer button with the same amount. According to OfferUp's policy, the seller should accept payment via the Buy It Now button. After canceling the make an offer option, I tried the Buy It Now button again. However, after confirming the purchase with my credit card, the information disappeared, and I haven't been able to retrieve it. I want to ensure that my credit card will be charged $20 plus $14.95 for shipping, and the item will be delivered to my address in Colorado as specified on my profile. If the confirmation didn't go through, I still intend to purchase the record player from Beetle for $20 as initially offered.
