My account was compromised over a month ago by a hacker from the Middle East. They made unauthorized purchases totaling over one hundred dollars for four games using my card, then changed my password and locked me out. Despite my attempts to contact PlayStation support, I couldn't reach them via calls or live chat. I had to resort to canceling my debit card through my bank to protect my funds. PlayStation failed to assist with a refund, which led me to seek help from my bank, resulting in resolving the issue. However, PlayStation accused me of obtaining the games fraudulently and banned my account until the alleged cost is paid. I don't want these games; all I want is to regain access to my account. The games in question are God Of War, Far Cry 5, WWE2K20, and Mortal Kombat 11: Afterlife Expansion. This occurred around mid-November, approximately on the 22nd.

I am experiencing difficulties accessing my PSN account. On December 27th, I received an email informing me that two-step verification was enabled, preventing me from logging in. Despite several attempts to contact PlayStation for assistance in disabling two-step verification, they are requesting the serial number of my original PS3 from a decade ago. Unfortunately, I do not have access to this information. PlayStation support has only suggested creating a new account as a solution, which is unacceptable considering the significant amount of money I have invested in games on my current account.

Yesterday around 7:00pm-7:40pm Eastern Standard Time, my account was hacked. I couldn't access it due to a password error, and later received an email stating that the account's email address was changed, locking me out completely. What's concerning is that my dad's credit card information is linked to the account. I need help recovering it since I'm the original owner and have not shared any details with anyone. If recovery is not possible, please consider suspending the account for impersonation.

Hello! I have been locked out of my PSN account on my PS4 since the 27th. Someone accessed my email, changed my password and ID, and I need help recovering it. I had a conversation with PlayStation support where I provided all the correct information but was still unable to proceed with the account recovery. I recently received an email from Sony stating that my email was changed on my PlayStation account. The change occurred while I had my PlayStation 4 disassembled for cleaning, as I was addressing issues with the disc drive. I don't regularly check my email, as I have a large number of unread messages. After a few days, I investigated further and discovered that the incident took place in Italy, whereas I am from NC. I immediately contacted PlayStation support and shared all relevant information. Despite the delay in receiving the email for password reset, I have now managed to reset it. However, there seems to be a two-step verification added, even though I never provided a phone number. After some more digging, I found that the last four digits of the mystery number are [redacted]. I am determined to regain access to my games and ensure the security of my account.

PlayStation's online-only sales system is inadvertently supporting scalpers, making it frustrating for genuine gamers like myself. Switching to in-store sales exclusively for a period and implementing purchase limits could deter scalpers and ensure real fans can access the console. The current situation is concerning and affecting the overall gaming experience. I urge PlayStation to address these issues promptly to restore trust and loyalty within their customer base. The struggle to purchase a PS5 has been frustrating, with multiple failed attempts due to swift stock depletion. My children's anticipation since Christmas remains unfulfilled, and I hope for a resolution soon.

Yesterday, my little cousin visited my house and played with my PS5 while I was out with friends. When I returned, everything seemed fine. However, when I tried to access my account today, it said it was permanently suspended. I am confused about what my cousin might have done. I am a law-abiding user and always follow the rules. Recently, I filed a claim regarding unauthorized charges on my card being used for monthly PlayStation Network payments instead of the usual yearly subscription. Despite informing my credit card company, Netspend, multiple months' charges were still made. I've been a loyal PlayStation customer, upgrading to PlayStation 4 when paid subscriptions began. Hello, I have temporarily stopped using my PS4, which is currently stored in my closet. Upon reviewing my credit card statement this month, I noticed that my PSN account automatically renewed my PS Plus membership for a full year. I have not utilized my account or the PS Plus benefits since the renewal occurred. Being a student, I am conscious of my expenses and do not wish to spend money on a service I am not using. Hello, I recently noticed that a two-step verification process was enabled on my PlayStation account without my prior knowledge. Unfortunately, I did not set this up and now I am unable to receive any verification codes. Despite trying to have the codes sent to my phone, I am not getting them, and because I am logged out on all my devices, I cannot access any backup codes. Two months have passed since I last spoke over the phone. Unfortunately, we couldn't reach an agreement due to being the victim of a hack. I was supposed to pay to regain access to my account. The hackers took several hundred dollars using my banking details. My bank only refunded a portion of the money. As a loyal long-time customer of PlayStation who frequently makes online purchases, I am hopeful that my account issue can be resolved.

On 12/24/20, my account was compromised, and someone bought 5 games: "Assassin's Creed Valhalla," "Need for Speed," "Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate," "Spider-Man: Miles Morales," and "Mafia," totaling approximately $[redacted]-$[redacted]. Though I have regained access to my account, I am still waiting for a refund for these unauthorized charges. Despite being informed that the refund calculation was underway, I have not received any further communication regarding the refund. After resolving the issue with my bank through a dispute, I have unfortunately been banned from PlayStation due to a chargeback violation. I seek assistance in lifting the ban, removing the unauthorized purchases from my account, and addressing the charges that I did not authorize. I changed my Gmail address on my PS3 without realizing it would lock me out of my PSN account. I do everything through my PS3, and I've been without a phone for 3 weeks. Early on, it asked me to confirm my PSN account using my phone and a text message, but I couldn't receive it without a phone. Now it wants me to use the Gmail address on my PSN account to verify my access, but I don't have a computer. All my games, YouTube, Spotify, Netflix, Amazon, and more are on my account. I need help to regain control of my PSN account using my phone. I didn't realize I needed a Gmail address the same as on my PlayStation. Can you set my Gmail address back to the original one before I changed it on the PS3? I thought changing the Gmail would let me access the PS Network again. Your assistance is appreciated. Thank you.

Since the recent update on PS4, I've been aware of Sony's stricter policies. I've always been careful not to send anything hurtful in messages. However, my younger brother, who frequently uses my PlayStation, sent a rude message to another player without realizing the consequences. Consequently, my account is now suspended for 7 days. I understand that my brother violated the community guidelines, but I'm kindly requesting a second chance. My PlayStation is a vital source of enjoyment, especially during these challenging times when I can't meet my friends in person. A prompt response would be greatly appreciated.

On December 20, [redacted], my username was changed and two-step verification was disabled without my consent, which I didn't realize was possible as support is closed on weekends. Despite reaching out to PlayStation Live Chat, I have had no success. I currently reside in the Bahamas but had to create my account under the United States since the Bahamas wasn't listed during setup. I have the console serial number and PSN cards purchased from Amazon since I'm unable to link my PayPal account. Despite providing this information, I'm told it's not enough, and they disconnect. I've spent a significant amount on this account and being asked to create a new one is unacceptable. If this issue isn't resolved, I may have to switch to Microsoft, as I believe they provide better support.

A couple of months ago, I was banned and seek clarification on the reasons behind it. According to the rules, I thought three bans were required for inappropriate behavior, but I was banned once for inappropriate content and twice for chargebacks. In reviewing the code of conduct and terms of service, I found no mention of permanent bans for chargebacks. The guidelines specifically state that a permanent ban results from inappropriate usernames, inappropriate messages reported by others. I just want PlayStation to clarify this for me. I acknowledge being suspended once, but I do not deny my responsibility.

I was banned a few months ago and it's unclear why. I believed multiple offenses were needed for a ban, but I was banned once for inappropriate content and multiple times for chargebacks. After reviewing the code of conduct, I found no mention of permanent bans for chargebacks. The rules specify a permanent ban requires an inappropriate Gamertag, Nametag, or sending inappropriate content and being reported. I'm not denying my suspension was warranted; I just seek clarity on the chargeback ban policy. I am open to being unbanned, but if not possible, an explanation would suffice. I attempted to log in today but was surprised to find that my PSN account got suspended without any apparent reason. PlayStation® Safety informed me via email that my Messages 2.0 content breached their Code of Conduct, potentially due to a group chat I was in, but not actively participating in.
