He provided the phone number [redacted], but upon speaking with him, I realized he was a scammer due to discrepancies between his voice and the photo he shared. Despite my efforts to block him and use multiple apps, he continued to leave messages on my phone for a month. It's important to be cautious as he may be deceiving others or attempting to install harmful software. I made it clear I wanted no further contact once I discovered his true intentions. I am having trouble logging into my POF account. Regardless of which username (ucla1976) or email address (1. [redacted], 2. [redacted]) and password I try, I keep getting rejected. I have attempted to reset my password multiple times over the last two days and eight hours. This issue seems to occur every time I switch to a new cell phone. It's frustrating that my information appears to be deleted each time. Even following the reset instructions provided by POF has been unsuccessful. I cannot afford any additional fees as I am on a fixed income. It's concerning that I may be charged an extra monthly fee for a quick fix that should be promptly addressed by POF. I believe that my access to my profile on POF is being restricted because for the past few months, I have experienced long periods of inactivity followed by sudden peaks of activity. It seems like my profile is not visible to the public, as I have interacted with users who mentioned not being able to see me on the site. I suspect that POF might be limiting views and search access to push users into upgrading their accounts to boost visibility. This behavior is new to my experience on the site, and it's concerning that I might not have full access to all profiles. Other members have also shared similar concerns about restricted access and discrepancies in profile visibility.

I was aware that my POF subscription would renew in October and had attempted to stop the automatic rebilling by removing my credit card information in Settings, but to my surprise, I was still charged via PayPal. I am perplexed as to why this occurred. Canceling a subscription seems much more challenging than anticipated, as I could not find another method to prevent the rebilling despite my efforts. In light of this experience, I am led to believe that POF engages in misleading and predatory billing practices, a common issue in the industry. Frustrated by this realization, I decided to delete my profile immediately upon noticing the unauthorized charge, fueling my decision to discontinue using the platform even before my planned cancellation in October. Compared to other dating sites like OKCupid or Match, the quality of users on POF appears inferior, rendering my years of payment seemingly futile. I kindly request a refund of the $86.66 deducted from my PayPal account yesterday.

Hi, I recently received a message from POF when I logged in today to check my messages. The message informed me that my account belonging to '[redacted]' has been removed due to a violation of Terms of Use & Community Guidelines. I am unsure about what violation led to this action as I have not had any issues with other users on POF. I am confused by this situation and would appreciate some clarity. Thank you, Lucia.

I haven't used the POF website lately as I found love offline. I requested Paypal to stop the subscription renewal, but it was not processed, and my membership was renewed. Upon realizing this, I cancelled my POF account on October 18th when I received an email confirming the renewal on the same day. Since the account is now canceled, the renewal is invalid. The account details are under the username Imalibraman2020. I would like a refund for the renewal charged to my credit card.

I'm having trouble accessing my account due to unrecognized credentials. Despite attempting to change the password, I'm still unable to log in. I now understand the policy against cutting and pasting messages, and I apologize for not following this guideline. I enjoy initiating conversations with a personal line, which unfortunately led to misunderstandings. I assure you I am not a spammer. I registered on Plenty of Fish a year or two ago. I soon discovered it wasn't the right platform for me and stopped using it. Seven months back, I met my significant other on a different website, and we've been happy together ever since. Recently, her friend informed her that I was active on your site, which isn't true because I haven't logged in for years. The site allegedly showed my account as active within the last 24 to 48 hours in bold red letters. This misunderstanding has caused a rift in my relationship, and I'm seeking an explanation for this issue. I need to have the POF app removed from my phone immediately. I can no longer use the site due to a serious health issue. Recently, I was diagnosed with advanced stage cancer and I am currently undergoing chemotherapy. This has left me bedridden, weak, and very ill, making it impossible to use the site again. I have had a positive experience with POF in the past but my health now prevents me from using it. Please remove my name, personal information, and close my account. Hello, I have encountered an issue with my POF account. I had previously paid to upgrade my account, and it was functioning properly for a period of time. However, upon returning to the platform, I was unable to log in. Subsequently, I created a new account but did not receive the upgraded access I had paid for. Upon further investigation, I realized that I have been continuously charged for the upgrade, despite not having access to the features. I checked my Google Play subscriptions, but POF does not appear there. I suspect that my old account was still active with the upgrade, even after creating a new one. I kindly request immediate cancellation of my upgrade subscription as I have been paying for a service that I have not been able to utilize for quite some time. I encountered a disturbing situation where someone I had blocked harassed me with violent language. I had requested a more engaging conversation due to the short responses they were providing. In response, the person became angry, used profanity, and told me to harm myself. This behavior continued even after I blocked them on a social platform. I believe such behavior should be reported as it could have serious consequences for someone more vulnerable. I have screenshots available for review if necessary. It's important to address such harmful behavior to prevent it from affecting others.

I've used your site multiple times and had a conversation with a lady. Today, when trying to sign in, it prompted me to fill out all the original information again. I find it unnecessary to do so each time I log in. It also keeps asking for verification with a code every time. I've already verified it once, no need for repeated games. If there are issues, I prefer to sign in as buggahbear, so please address this. It's frustrating to have to fill out the entire form repeatedly with preferences and education details. It shouldn't be necessary after the initial completion.

I'm experiencing an issue with my account on the POF website. It seems like my account has been either changed or deleted. Whenever I try to log in, I am prompted to fill in all the initial setup questions such as my name, income, and more to create a new account. As I began answering the questions, when I entered my email address, the system indicated it was already associated with an existing account. I recently discovered that a Plenty of Fish account was opened using my business phone. I noticed unauthorized activity when checking my bank statements. I kindly request a refund to my business account and the closure of the unauthorized profile. I'm prepared to dispute the charges with my bank if necessary. Please resolve this matter promptly. I am currently experiencing a pop-up ad when trying to access Profiles on Plenty of Fish on my mobile phone. I am registered with POF, but when attempting to re-register, I receive an error stating "this email address already exists." I do not have any other active email addresses with POF. I am in communication with a specific member and worried about not being able to respond promptly due to the pop-up ad. Please advise on how to remove or bypass the pop-up ad. The pop-up occurs when I select the POF app on my phone. Thank you.

I recently upgraded my Plenty of Fish account. Unfortunately, my phone was damaged and I had to replace it. Upon setting up my new phone, I noticed that my account information on Plenty of Fish has completely changed. My profile picture is missing, my updated pictures are not showing, and my contact list and ongoing conversations are gone. Despite being an upgraded member, the system prompts me to upgrade again to resolve these issues. I need my current information restored to my profile, my ongoing conversations reconnected, and my updated pictures displayed. The current profile pictures are outdated, and I believe my profile picture is also missing. I would appreciate a prompt resolution to this matter and an update on the steps being taken.
