Questionable Transaction*POSSIBLE FRAUD ??**My Business name: Hummingbird Beach Hideaway*My contact * ***.***.*****My name: Kent Manning**Charged against my PayPal Business Debit Card ending in *****Original Transaction date - ********Amout $****Vendor Name: STRIPE.COM*Transaction Ref * ***********************
GetHuman4424477 did not yet indicate what Stripe should do to make this right.
I have an issue with Stripe too
How GetHuman4424477 fixed the problem
To get any access to STRIPE support I had to first register on the STRIPE website, then (& only then) could I send an email to STRIPE support through their internal mail system, with my contact info & details of the questionable transaction, (including a ** digit transaction reference * that PayPal was able to provide me). To insure I got their attention I headlined my email w* "Questionable Transaction - POSSIBLE FRAUD" **I got an email response within hours giving me the Vendor name and their website link behind the transaction. But the name they provided me was still not a company I'd ever heard of or dealt with. It was a transaction processing software*service company in the Netherlands named FareHarbor.com.**Fortunately, on the FareHarbor website there was a phone number & I was able to get a call back after leaving a message including the magic words "Questionable Transaction - POSSIBLE FRAUD" and eventually determined with their help that the transaction in question was a legit charge but when it processed through FareHarbor & then STRIPE (FareHarbor uses STRIPE to clear*process credit card transactions) the only name showing on my PayPal activity listing was STRIPE.COM as the Vendor.**Now, I have to close the loop with the original Vendor to make them to insist to FareHarbor that their company name must be attached to the transaction as it is processed through STRIPE.COM, so that their customer knows the transaction.**Way too much work to solve somebody else's sloppy data capture & processing. :(
