I ordered a free SIM card kit, followed all the activation steps, and even got a notification that it was activated successfully. However, I am unable to make or receive calls or texts unless connected to Wi-Fi. Before inserting the TextNow SIM card, I did not have any messages on my phone about a locked network. Now, after inserting the TextNow SIM card, my phone displays "network locked - emergency calls only."

I am disabled and needed to urgently share important legal information with a family friend in California. I sent photos of letters, screenshots, chats, and diary entries via text now to his cell phone. Despite sending multiple sets of photos before without issues, my account was unexpectedly frozen. When I tried to sign back in, I was told I violated terms of use and had to verify my email. However, after repeated attempts, I never received the verification email, causing me distress and exacerbating my mental health condition. This situation is unfair, particularly when I needed help with identity theft urgently. I'm willing to switch services if needed, but I plea for some time to do so as I am already under immense stress. I hope for a prompt resolution to this distressing experience.

I recently signed out of my Google account and upon signing back in, it did not automatically link back to my TextNow number, [redacted]. Instead, the site attempted to assign me a new number. This is alarming because I use this number to communicate with my minor child, for work, personal matters, and county relations. Continually changing my number makes me appear irresponsible, which is not the case. I desperately need to retain my number, [redacted], especially with upcoming court proceedings where I may require transcripts of specific conversations. I've been a loyal subscriber to TextNow's ad-free service for years, but yesterday, I was unexpectedly locked out of my account without any explanation. This has made me unable to receive important incoming calls, and I am frustrated by the lack of assistance from customer support, which is currently only available through a chat bot. Every attempt to log back into my account results in a message claiming a violation of terms of use, which is untrue, and prompts me to verify my email address. Yesterday, I received a seemingly harmless message simply saying "Hi" from an unknown number on my phone. I chose to disregard it at first, but today the same number sent me a string of messages that were homophobic, white supremacist, and antisemitic in nature. After discussing it with a friend who had also received the initial "Hi" message, we realized we both were targeted. Given our involvement in LGBTQ+ rights at school, I suspect this may be a deliberate hate crime. I took the necessary step of blocking the number. However, I am concerned about the safety of others and preventing further similar incidents. I need assurance that this issue will be addressed to protect others from potentially harmful messages.

I've been having trouble accessing my TextNow account lately. My email got hacked, and I suspect my TextNow account might have been compromised too. I purchased a sim kit, but my phone was stolen, leaving me locked out. The email associated with my TextNow account is different from my current one. Hello, I registered a second number on the TextNow app using the emails [redacted] and [redacted] on my iPhone. However, when I tried to use the second number, it said the account was disabled, and I am unsure why it was locked. I would like to continue using the second number on TextNow for personal use, not business. I had a TextNow number and lost my Cash Card. When I tried to get a new card, I realized I might have created a new account. I received the new card, but the issue is that the IRS sent my stimulus money to my old account. I can't remember the password for the old account to check if the money is there. Dear forum members, I accidentally left my bag at the bus stop and one of my neighbor's acquaintances found it. It contained my tablet. I've noticed that charges are still being deducted from my phone service for the last three months, and I suspect the phone was also in the bag. The incident took place near Ballard area. I contacted TextNow via email about my TextNow number that I have had for four years, as they informed me that my service was canceled without specifying the reason. I inquired why they were unable to disclose the reason for the cancellation but did not receive a response to my query.
