Yesterday, on November 8th, my husband and I traveled from El Paso, TX to Oklahoma City, OK on flights #UA4822 and #UA6354. We mistakenly left our carry-on luggage in Houston, assuming it would be checked through to Oklahoma City. We spoke with a representative in Oklahoma City who informed us the suitcase would be sent from Houston to us. We were expecting a text notification but have not received one. Can you provide an update on the location of our luggage and how we can retrieve it? The claim is under John Canada at [redacted] Cedar Creek Terrace, OKC [redacted]. Thank you, Carletta Canada

Today, November 14, [redacted], I checked in a second piece of luggage that exceeded the weight limit by 2 pounds. The attendant informed me that I needed to remove the excess weight to avoid a $[redacted] fee. After doing so and having the luggage checked again, she mentioned the charge would be $60 for the second bag. In my rush to grab a bite at around 3 am, I didn't thoroughly review the receipt. Arriving in Houston, I received an email from United indicating a total charge of $[redacted]. While the attendant appeared helpful at first, the unexpected increase in cost left me feeling taken aback. I am nearly 70 years old, but I'm not easily fooled. I was simply fatigued and hungry after a long Sunday. Regardless, I've learned a lesson. I believe this situation is concerning and would appreciate a $[redacted] refund credited back to my Citi/Costco credit card for the service from United Airlines. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

On November 20th, I requested an earlier flight for 3 people from IAH to JAN through one of your agents. He confirmed availability for 3 seats and proceeded with the request. However, only a booking for 2 was made, and I was told an invoice for 2 would be sent to my email for $98.24. Invoice No#: IWN7N5-IV7VTE Invoice Date: Nov 21, [redacted] After receiving the invoice, I paid for 2 under Watkins & Wilson using my credit card. I then requested an invoice for Dent, but was informed there was no booking for Dent and the flight was full, contrary to the original request. Consequently, the bookings were reverted to the later flight at 6:05 pm on Sunday, November 20th. I seek a refund of $98.24 to the credit card used for the Watkins & Wilson booking. Please refund to the credit card.

Hello, I wanted to let you know that my flight schedule has recently been changed by United Airlines. The modification has resulted in a tight connection between my first flight, UA1977, landing in LA at 9:40 AM and my second flight, UA32, departing at 10:35 AM. With less than 55 minutes between flights, I am concerned that delays or other issues could cause me to miss my connecting flight to Hanoi, Vietnam. Missing this flight would significantly impact my travel plans and could lead to several days of delays. I would appreciate any assistance or suggestions you can provide to help me make it to my connection on time without any issues. Thank you for your help.

My experience with United was horrendous. The first flight from San Diego was canceled due to mechanical issues, and the second had boarding pass scanners malfunctioning. United's lack of maintenance was evident. The gate agent only offered a coach seat with boarding group 4 accommodations, resulting in me arriving home almost 4 hours late. My seat mates were large and took up the middle seat. One had an overpowering perfume scent. Despite scanning the QR code, live agents claimed there were no alternative options. They directed me to call the [redacted] number, but after numerous calls to agents in the Philippines, they were unable to transfer me to a US agent to rebook on a Delta flight. Only after a foreign agent's intervention, I was rebooked in first class for the last flight. This experience disrupted my work plans and caused significant business losses. I am a frequent traveler between Hartford and San Diego with United, and I now question if they value my business. A full refund or a future First Class round-trip ticket seems appropriate in light of the situation.

I booked a flight with the "cancel for any reason" option as my plans were uncertain. However, I received a reservation email for a basic economy ticket that doesn't allow refunds. Despite selecting the cancellation option, I was told to cancel my flight by an agent and request a refund on united.com/refund, minus $49. When trying to do so, I received an error saying they couldn't process an active flight. Following their advice, I attempted another option, only to be informed that since my itinerary was cancelled, a refund request couldn't be processed.

I would like to make a special request regarding my Premier Gold status with United. Being a loyal customer, I reached Premier Gold status before the pandemic hit. Unfortunately, due to my husband's Stage 4 Cancer diagnosis and subsequent passing, I was unable to travel for the past 2 years and utilize my status. United graciously extended Premier Gold status for another year due to the pandemic, but now that I will need to travel again for work, I will not have my status in the upcoming year. I kindly ask if it's possible to extend my Premier Gold status for [redacted]. It would mean a lot as I couldn't benefit from it for 2 years. My Frequent Flyer Number is VLF15506. Your consideration and assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Shirl L Sabella

The flight details are as follows: BLG - FRA: UA9528 FRA - IAD: UA8827 I have noticed that these flights will be operated by Lufthansa. I have a close friend who will be traveling alone from LAX to Oakland on 12/22. She is elderly and occasionally faces memory challenges. Despite this, she is in good physical shape, walking at least 2 miles daily. Although someone will accompany her to the TSA line at LAX, I am worried about her navigating from TSA to the departure gate at LAX and from the arrival gate in Oakland to meet her friend. She also has two more flights: SFO to ACV on 12/27 and ACV to LAX on either 12/31 or 1/1. I am wondering if United Airlines provides an escort service within the airport for situations like these. Thank you.

My large hardshell Samsonite suitcase got crushed on a recent flight to Cape Town, South Africa, with layovers in Illinois and New York. Despite reporting the damage at the airport and filling out an online damaged baggage report with United, I have yet to receive a response after 17 days. The process to report the issue was difficult as the system kept freezing. After multiple attempts to get United to address the problem, I still have not been contacted except for one email acknowledging the damaged luggage. I traveled to Cape Town, but now I have no luggage to use for my return journey. I am requesting a replacement suitcase of the same quality and size so I can fly back home with my belongings. United's app does not show my claim, they have not emailed me regarding the report, and I have been unable to reach them through email or non-US phone numbers for assistance. Any assistance with this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I am experiencing an issue with my return trip to America on December 8th. After modifying my trip in the company's app, I received the following email from United regarding a necessary action to confirm the change made to my flight. They stated there was an error processing the request and that a ticket reissue is needed before I can check in for my flight. To address this matter, I should contact them at 1-[redacted] with my confirmation number on hand. I appreciate your attention to this matter. Thank you.

During my trip to Europe, I had the benefit of one complimentary checked bag with my flight, and an additional free checked bag because of my United credit card. However, as I am preparing to travel back, I just completed my check-in process and was surprised to see that I am being charged for checked bags. This discrepancy is concerning as it is unjust to allow complimentary bags on one leg of the journey and not the other. I hope this issue can be rectified promptly to avoid any inconvenience during my check-in tomorrow morning. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Subject: Complaint about Recent Reservation Issue Dear United Airlines Customer Service, I am writing to bring to your attention a disappointing incident regarding a reservation I recently made with your company. I intended to travel to New York with my daughter using a travel certificate issued to me due to a prior flight cancellation for medical reasons. Despite following the instructions on the certificate carefully, I encountered difficulties during the booking process. When trying to make a reservation for a flight from Paris to New York on May 3, [redacted], and returning on May 8, [redacted], I encountered confusion regarding applying my travel credit. Subsequently, upon checking my bank account, I discovered that I had been charged twice for the same reservation, leading me to suspect a possible error or manipulation in the payment process. I have contacted your reservation services, but the responses I received did not provide a satisfactory explanation or resolution to the situation. Due to these financial implications, I have had to request my bank to block the duplicate payment. I hope for a prompt and fair resolution to this matter, ensuring that the situation is rectified according to the original terms of my booking. Your attention to this issue is greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Roger T.

Hello, we booked a flight to Denver for the 24th of December. However, we received a cancellation email, which caused some confusion. When we called Lufthansa, the representative assured us that the flight was still scheduled, and we only needed to check in. Unfortunately, we are unable to check in online, adding to our confusion. Our priority is to reach Vancouver as soon as possible. Your prompt assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, my family and I have a flight booked to Denver on the 24th of December. Unfortunately, we just received a cancellation notification for our flight. We contacted Lufthansa, who informed us that the plane from Frankfurt to Denver was still departing as scheduled. They advised us to attempt to check in online, but we are unable to do so. We are concerned about whether we can still travel to Denver and make our connecting flight to Vancouver on time. We're eager to reach Vancouver promptly. Can anyone offer guidance on how we should proceed in this situation? Thank you.

My UA2180 flight from SEA to ORD on 12/23/[redacted] at 12:29am PST (confirmation EEW66P) was canceled after boarding. We were de-planed due to no available seats on any airline. I waited at the airport until it closed at around 5am for my bags from the plane. United has sent me emails with delayed flight options, but they don't match the gate agent's information. As UA2180 never departed, I'll miss my connection UA1715 ORD to BTV at 7:15 CST on 12/23/[redacted]. I need assistance retrieving my bags and exploring options to reschedule my flights for next week or receive a refund for all my flights, including return flights UA3787 and UA326.

Our initial flight to Durango from Denver got canceled, so we ended up flying to Montrose. Unfortunately, our checked bags didn't make it to either location. We have a claim number and have been chatting with agents, but somehow they are not grasping that the bags were supposed to go to Durango, not Montrose.
