Unfortunately, my family will be pulling our accounts from Wells Fargo (even though we are *** year customers). The reason: Our family has a foundation (named in memory of our daughter Debra) call the Debra C Parmentola Foundation. When we formed this foundation ** years ago, we opened an account at Wells Fargo (Lincroft, NJ). It is a typical low interest business account. The foundation has done very well and accumulated a large amount of money. My wife and I went to the Lincroft branch to shift money into a business CD. We were told since our niece (Kristina Maimis) is the treasurer and a key executive that she would need to be present to open the business CD. Since she lives in NY, this is not possible in the short term. My wife and Kristina call the business unit on-line number and they told them to print out two forms and have Kristina sign. We did that and went to the Lincroft branch to open the CD account. We were then told that there were more forms to sign and this could not be done today. I have had enough. The money for the foundation is in your bank....why can't it simply be shifted to another account. This foundation is a charitable organization....doesn't Wells Fargo want to help these types of organizations? We will go to another bank and write a check and have no hassle. I am incredibly disappointed in this treatment. We have close to $***,*** in monies at Wells Fargo....will be moving it out as soon as possible!
