Hello, I experienced an issue with a Harrington jacket I purchased. Upon receiving it, I couldn't fit my arms through the sleeves. I contacted the seller and sent them photos. They requested a return, instructing me to take it to the post office, but the office required a return barcode which I didn't have. The seller then provided me with a barcode "ZZ[redacted]13GB," sent back on 31.5.19, delivered on 3.6.19. After no progress, the seller advised me to open a return or cancel, but the system asks for postage despite the item being returned. I have proof of postage and photos. The item number is [redacted]33. Thank you, Mr. Terence S.

I was contacted by a travel agent through Expedia.com who advised me to purchase a gift card from eBay for a special price offer. Unfortunately, after providing the gift card details, I was informed that it was defective. The agent suggested buying another card elsewhere and promised to refund the first one within two hours. When I declined and asked for a cancellation of my reservation and reimbursement for the faulty gift card, the agent assured me it would be taken care of promptly. However, after following up three hours later, I couldn't reach the agent and found the number to be disconnected. Trying to stop the possible misuse of the gift card, I have been facing difficulties getting assistance despite being transferred between departments and experiencing disconnections. I believe both Expedia and eBay should be informed about this suspicious situation.

I purchased 2 blooming UV gel polishes on Mar 9, [redacted], and 2 non-wipe UV base coat polishes on Mar 10, [redacted] from Evenfantasy. Unfortunately, I have yet to receive my orders despite reaching out to the seller. They assured me a refund but have now stopped responding to my messages. The delivery date they provided falls after the 3-month feedback period on eBay, causing me to lose the opportunity to leave feedback or make any requests. Due to long shipping times for orders coming from Asia, it is necessary to extend the feedback period for international orders to at least 4 months. While most sellers are understanding and issue refunds, Evenfantasy, with its high rating of 99.4, has left me disappointed. I have kept all communication messages for reference. I hope international order timelines can be reconsidered in the future. Thank you, R

Upon reviewing your eBay account, we have identified some issues related to your account activity which have led to the suspension of your account. If you believe this action was made in error and wish to restore your access, we require your cooperation to verify your account and activity directly. Please note that creating a new account will limit your chance to appeal this decision. Our priority is to safeguard our community, and we appreciate your understanding while we investigate this matter. Kindly be informed that most account restrictions or suspensions can be resolved by submitting a one-time payment or by following the instructions provided in the email or eBay Messages. If necessary, payments should be directed to eBay Marketplaces GmbH. We appreciate your cooperation in resolving this issue promptly. Thank you for your understanding.

I recently received an account security notice from eBay asking for immediate action to resolve a suspected issue. Having followed all the instructions provided in the email, my account remains frozen. When attempting to make a purchase, I encounter an error message stating I've exceeded the maximum order amount without a clear resolution. I have a long-standing history of successful purchases on eBay since [redacted]. However, the challenge I face now is my inability to reach eBay for assistance due to ongoing upgrades to their phone system. I have confirmed there are no issues with my credit card or PayPal account through my respective banks. As I am calling from overseas with an overseas phone number, I am currently unable to make contact for a swift resolution.

My husband recently received an email regarding the suspension of his eBay account, which is concerning because we haven't used it. His username is flori_9644, and we are puzzled about how this username was assigned. Last Friday, 6/14/19, we tried to purchase pods for my Smok Novo, but the payment was declined. We initially assumed it was a bank security measure. However, after receiving the suspension email, we suspect the account might have been compromised. He rarely uses this account, and any eBay purchases are typically made through my account. The email cited "serious security concerns," which has left us worried. Apart from the attempted purchase on 6/14/19, there should be no other activity on the account. We are seeking clarification on what transpired with the account.

Hello, I placed an order for luggage and made a payment through Paypal using my American Express credit card. However, I received an email stating that the payment did not go through. I made a second payment, but I received the same email again. The email is asking me to resend the payment for the Samsonite Omni Hardside 3 Piece luggage set. Can anyone advise me on what to do next? Thank you.

I encountered an issue with a customer who bought a small table from me. Originally listed for collection only, the buyer requested that I send it to her. Despite my initial reluctance, I agreed out of kindness when she explained the difficulty of collecting it due to her age. After she made the payment to my bank account, I arranged for the table to be sent to her using a 24-hour tracked delivery service by DPD. Unfortunately, the customer complained a week later that the top of the table was missing, even though it was securely packaged with the legs. I investigated the matter with the courier, who stated no tampering had occurred. The buyer escalated the issue to eBay, where I detailed the situation. Initially, the case was closed in my favor, but eBay unexpectedly reversed their decision two days later, ruling in her favor without allowing me to appeal. Despite not receiving the item back and the table being sent fully assembled, eBay refunded her and now expects me to reimburse them. I feel unsettled by the buyer's persistent contact through personal email, which is against eBay's policies, and her immediate expectation of a full refund upon complaint. I believe eBay should reconsider this decision as I do not believe I am responsible for the situation.

I sold a high-quality used full suspension mountain bike in great condition, accurately listed as "used" with clear photos including a cosmetic chip. The buyer now demands a full refund due to the chip, claiming it's unsafe, though it was just a paint chip superglued back. The bike is mechanically perfect, used minimally, and looks almost new. The buyer refuses to pay return shipping, alleging false advertising. I suspect he's misusing the return policy or regretting the purchase. Packing and shipping the bike took time, making this situation unfair. Shouldn’t a minor paint chip be considered normal wear? The bike is flawless otherwise. I worry about the return process; what if something else is sent back? Are there no protections for sellers in this situation? It seems like the buyer is exploiting the situation. Any guidance on how to handle this would be appreciated.

I listed a body protector on my eBay account, but I later found out that my daughter had given it away without my knowledge. Dealing with a recent family bereavement, I didn't initially respond to the buyer when I realized the item was sold. After apologizing to the buyer and explaining the situation, I managed to retrieve the body protector, but the buyer had already purchased one elsewhere urgently. eBay is currently holding the full amount of £34.99 until the item is shipped with a tracking number. Since the item was not sent to the buyer as the seller changed her mind, I hope this issue can be resolved promptly. Thank you.

I am writing to seek advice regarding an issue with a seller. The seller sent me damaged goods and refuses to replace the item. The parcel arrived in a hard paper package covered in black vinyl foil with my address label. The seller mentioned contacting the carrier to process a claim for the damage, but the damage was only evident under the vinyl foil. Additionally, when my friend tried to place the order on my behalf, the seller cancelled it citing delivery issues to Slovenia, which was not a problem with carriers like UPS. I would appreciate any guidance on how to proceed with this situation.

My daughter made a purchase on eBay for $[redacted] without my knowledge, leading me to believe my account was hacked. After realizing the error, my daughter claimed she was scammed when we received an empty package with a note inside. Despite my attempts to contact eBay and explain the situation, the lack of direct customer service made it impossible to report the issue. The automated system did not allow me to dispute the non-delivery, return the item, or contact eBay directly. When I tried to resolve the matter through PayPal due to the mistaken dispute filed earlier, I encountered further obstacles and was unable to open another dispute with them. The promised eBay money back guarantee and PayPal Protection seemed unattainable in this situation. I need assistance on how to recover my money from this scam.

I have encountered an issue that requires attention. I listed 3 boxes of [redacted] Accu-Chek blood test strips each on eBay. A member, Health Care Industries Plus LLC, ordered all three boxes and later ordered 2 more that I never had in stock. Each box was priced at $65. The buyer paid for 2 boxes at that price and also paid $[redacted] for 2 additional boxes that were never available from my end. After realizing this, I refunded the overpaid amount. However, I mistakenly refunded $[redacted] extra. I have contacted the buyer, and I am currently awaiting a $[redacted] refund from them to correct the error. The Accu-Chek blood test strips were never shipped as the buyer mentioned one box was crushed. Here is the latest email response I received from the buyer advising me to contact eBay for assistance. Thank you. - Allen Brinkley, getemgators1

Hello. I recently bought a surround sound receiver from a seller, but unfortunately, it arrived not working correctly. After having it inspected by a professional, I was informed that a board in the receiver is fried. Despite my attempts to address this with the seller, I was advised to take it up with the shipping company. This is concerning to me as it was a significant purchase, and I am left with a malfunctioning item. The item number for reference is [redacted]86. My name is Dario Stanekovic, and I am prepared to provide any necessary information. The seller advertised it as fully functional, but I received a non-operational unit. I hope to receive some assistance with this matter. Thank you for your time. Dario.

Regarding Item ID [redacted]84, I attempted to reach out to the seller to address the issue with the remote control. I asked for a partial refund because returning the item is not feasible since it was a gift for someone in another EU country. The seller recommended purchasing a replacement with the assurance of a £14 partial refund. They mentioned someone from the partial team would contact me for my bank details, which never occurred. Upon contacting them again, they mentioned providing a return label. My concern is why they initially suggested buying a replacement and promising a refund, only to later decline issuing the refund after the replacement was purchased. I am considering involving eBay since returning the item is not an option.

Hello, I attempted to purchase an item on eBay but encountered payment issues. Despite the payment not going through, the amount was withdrawn from my bank account. The item doesn't show up in my purchased items on eBay. I plan to contact my bank to rectify the situation and would like to understand how this payment discrepancy occurred on eBay's end. Thank you. I purchased a Weller 80 watt soldering iron a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, after using it for less than an hour, it shorted out, causing two blowout holes in the barrel of the iron. I expected better quality from a brand like WELLER. I tried to reach out to the company online through eBay to explain the issue, but I couldn't access my account. Every time I tried, I received an error message stating, "Oops, something went wrong." I am unable to contact the seller or access "myEbay." I need to retrieve my password and username, which should be "dkcomm" or "[redacted]" Can anyone assist me with this issue?

I had a disappointing experience with Silver-Hub and a bidder named c***9 on eBay. They engaged in shill bidding which led to inflated prices on items I want to purchase. I feel like I've been taken advantage of and I'm hesitant to trust the seller going forward. When c***9 retracted their bid, all related bids should have been removed for a fair process. I want the seller to abide by eBay's policies and ensure fair competition. I've also had issues with missing items in previous orders. Despite trying to communicate with them, resolving problems has been challenging, and I'm wary of their business practices. I used the feedback system to alert others about the situation. Now, the seller wants me to remove those comments, but they haven't corrected the overcharges in my current cart. I seek guidance on how to proceed and hope the seller learns from this experience. Thank you, Joanne Owens (nextadventure_7).
