I would like to address my dissatisfaction with the handling of item [redacted]51 by eBay and PayPal customer support. I sold an item using Royal Mail's Second Class Signed For service. The buyer claimed non-receipt, I refunded the amount after 10 days, buyer confirmed receipt, and now refuses to return the refund promptly. eBay has stated that since I voluntarily refunded, no further assistance can be provided. I feel unprotected and at the mercy of the buyer, who is not adhering to our agreement. Despite my efforts, eBay's policies do not safeguard me in such situations. I have demanded evidence of the item's condition before any further steps, but the buyer is uncooperative. I seek a resolution and a clearer explanation of the lack of protection available to sellers in similar cases.

I need help with a situation regarding a camcorder I sold on eBay. The buyer has sent payment to eBay, which they confirmed receiving and holding until delivery confirmation before passing it on within 21 days. Unfortunately, I am currently unwell and staying with my sister on the East Coast for two more months. I contacted the buyer, Mr. Ellis, explained the situation, and do not need payment. I kindly request eBay to return the buyer's payment promptly as it has not been transferred to my account yet. On February 11, [redacted], I bought an Aboriginal carved crocodile from sell.for.you in Australia for a total of $1,[redacted].88 ($1,[redacted].00 + $76.88 for state taxes). The seller agreed to free shipping, but before sending the item, they informed me that the lower jaw was missing. I've been exchanging messages with the seller for the past two weeks, but the responses are confusing and unclear. I've only received one out of four items bought. If the missing piece cannot be located, I'm willing to purchase the carving at a reduced price. I am struggling to understand the seller's messages and need assistance in communicating effectively. I am requesting a $[redacted].00 refund if the item is damaged and would like the crocodile to be shipped promptly. Thank you for your anticipated help.

I tried to communicate with the seller within the specified time frame, but the language barrier made it challenging as his responses were unclear and confusing. Unfortunately, we missed the window for resolution, and the seller seemed to be uninterested in fixing the issue, knowing that we were past the deadline. The guitar transmitter he sold me is defective, and despite my requests for a replacement, he only offered a refund. This does not solve the problem of receiving a faulty product. I am disappointed with the lack of support and adherence to the Ebay money-back guarantee in cases where sellers do not deliver as promised.

The seller listed a PSA 8 Randy Johnson graded card in their auction without any indication that the case was cracked. However, upon receiving the card, I found that it was a different serial number, with a cracked case that had been glued. Initially, I filed a claim but opted to disengage from this dishonest seller and closed it. The seller's attempt to deceive by changing the auction photo to match the cracked case card has been exposed. The original shipping details clearly show the card I bid on, without any cracks, gluing, and with a different serial number. It's evident this seller is trying to deceive both myself and the platform. I urge the responsible Ebay team to address this deceitful behavior and take appropriate action against this seller. The situation needs to be rectified promptly. Thank you. - G. Van D. Order date: 2/14/21 Purchaser: cardinvestor1 (Order #: 17-06[redacted]2)

I purchased a Glarry guitar on February 18, [redacted], with Order Number: 02-06[redacted]2. I've noticed a discrepancy in the amount charged by PayPal, showing $[redacted].89 instead of the listed price of $[redacted].04. I aim to pay for the item in 6 equal installments of $[redacted].04, yet PayPal hasn't clarified the amount owed. I'm concerned about the payment status and the actual cost of the guitar. Despite requesting a review from PayPal, the response is delayed until April 15. I seek guidance on whether I owe an initial payment of $19.34 for March and wish to settle it promptly. Your assistance is appreciated. Thank you, M Hamilton.

Hello, I recently received two refunds from different sellers for products I returned but cannot locate these transactions in my accounts. Although I believe I used PayPal for payment, there are no records of the purchases or refunds available. I have checked eBay but could not find details of the account used for these transactions. The information only mentions the refunds going back to the purchasing account, which I do not recall. I struggled to find a way to contact you on your website regarding this matter. If there is a contact option, it is not easily visible. It would be beneficial if you could improve this for specific issues like mine. Thank you for your assistance in identifying the account I used for these purchases. Order numbers: 24-06[redacted]1 and 24-06[redacted]0 Best regards, C. W. I purchased a Remote Control Jeep Simulation Four-Wheel Drive Off-Road Military Climbing Car from Retra Luna. The DHL tracking indicated delivery on Feb 24, yet I received a small plastic toy car instead. It came from New York with a different USPS tracking number. The toy car is not what I ordered - it is smaller and not remote-controlled. I suspect a bait-and-switch. The seller claims I need to return the incorrect item at my expense for a refund or replacement, which seems unfair. I am considering filing a complaint through Paypal. Furthermore, I have escalated the issue on eBay but have faced difficulties in resolving it.

I have encountered two issues that require resolution. Firstly, I faced a problem on E bay where sellers became unregistered after I made purchases and could not be located. E bay promptly refunded me for the purchases, and I placed orders with different sellers to replace the items. One of the items reached Ohio, while the other was just received and is desired by my wife. I am unsure how to refund E bay in such cases where sellers disappear, as my attempts to contact E bay for assistance were met with frustration. The second issue involves E bay sending an alert that my account may be at risk of compromise. Despite changing my password successfully, I encountered difficulty when trying to change my secret questions and answers. The system refused my changes, requesting different answers that I believe are relevant to the questions posed. I am perplexed by the absence of live customer service to navigate these uncommon situations, particularly regarding returning a refund to E bay. I seek guidance on how to address these matters.

I have contacted Ebay multiple times to request clarification on a $[redacted].00 charge to my account, but have not received a response. My account was suspended because I didn't understand the charge and couldn't get an explanation. I have all the emails and notes I sent Ebay. As a lawyer, I have identified your company's owners, executives, and other key individuals, yet I still can't determine why I was charged. I prefer not to escalate this, but your company must be accountable. I urge someone to reach out to me or I will contact your executives and board members. My husband, a Judge, agrees that you have a legal obligation to explain the charge that led to the account suspension without adequate justification. You can reach me at [redacted]. S. Doanes Bergin

I recently returned a jacket expecting a refund, following the seller's instructions. However, despite USPS confirming the item's delivery on January 19th, the seller did not acknowledge it. The seller claimed the item didn't match the description, which confused me as there is proof of delivery. Initially, eBay mentioned the case would be open until Feb 5th, but I assumed it would remain open until resolved. I hope this matter can be resolved promptly to avoid any further delays. Thank you for your attention to this, Lia.

I purchased disposable banana leaf plates on eBay with order number 19-60[redacted]2. Unfortunately, I have not received the item. eBay informed me that they closed the case because the seller provided a tracking number (Case No: [redacted]), but I can assure you that I never received the plates. I paid $21 for the plates and over $52 in total, including the shipping fee. As a senior citizen, I am unsure how to request the seller for the items. I hope eBay can assist me further instead of simply closing the case based on the seller's tracking number, which doesn't prove I received the items.

I am requesting an update on my appeal for order number [redacted]03-[redacted][redacted]. In summary, the Seller indicated the shipment was from Memphis, TN, but allegedly the package was sent from Myers Tire Supply in Akron, OH (PH #[redacted]). Myers Tire Supply confirmed no shipment was made to my address. The tracking number led to Oak City Tire, LLC per FedEx. FedEx mentioned the shipment went to a business address, not a residence, and did not disclose more details. The tracking information shows the item was shipped in 3 packages, none matching the rower's dimensions. The seller provided the tracking details hours after delivery, contradicting eBay's policies. To add suspicion, the Seller is no longer an eBay registrant. This situation raises concerns about potential fraud by the seller exploiting eBay's system.

Hello, I'm seeking assistance with a situation on eBay regarding a buyer named 'subaruwrxstimark' who bought a mountain bike from me (eBay item number [redacted]16) for £[redacted] on February 26, [redacted]. The buyer collected the bike on March 1, [redacted], but has now opened a return request claiming the bike does not match the description or photos and would cost more to fix than it's worth. I feel uncomfortable communicating with this buyer due to their aggressive emails and worry about potential distress to my family if they return. I want eBay to intervene as I believe I've been transparent in my listing, stating the bike's condition, faults, and inviting inspections. I am yet to receive the payment as it is pending in PayPal. If the bike is returned, I'm unsure who should cover the [redacted]-mile courier cost. I believe the buyer is trying to get a refund and keep the bike. I am eager for eBay's help in this matter. Thank you. Regards, B. Walters

Today on March 5, [redacted] at 11:00 AM, I unfortunately fell victim to a scam. The scammers posed as Social Security authorities claiming that I needed to transfer my money to protect it from fraudulent activity. They instructed me to buy gift cards and provided a man named Dave Morgan's details from Texas. They gave me various confirmation codes, a Social Security access number, a DC number, and a phone number [redacted]. I still have the receipts and gift cards. I am seeking assistance to try and recover my money and prevent further fraudulent transactions. As a long-time eBay customer, I am hoping they can provide support in this situation.

I have been an eBay buyer since [redacted] with a stellar track record of positive feedback and instant PayPal payments. However, to my surprise, my eBay.it account was permanently suspended on March 6th. The reason provided was vague, stating that my activity somehow posed a threat to the community without specifics. I believe this abrupt action may be due to my current temporary stay in The Philippines since January [redacted], a decision prompted by the ongoing Covid-19 situation. Despite this location change, I have continued to make purchases without any issues until this sudden suspension. It is perplexing as PayPal has not restricted my account, and no prior warnings from eBay.it were received. I have even explained to eBay about my occasional access from my iPhone and my regular visits to the Philippines without past problems. I am reaching out for a thorough investigation and clarity on this matter. Thank you, Renato Ferriani (hammerthor6942).

I, (Dminovor_0), was a victim of a seller (Allaboutsports-ph) scam. Instead of receiving the New, in the original box, Deeper Pro Plus Smart Sonar GPS that I paid for, I received the wrong, old model of the Deeper Pro Smart Sonar in an opened box with a broken seal. This was not what I ordered as clearly advertised. I received the parcel on March 5, [redacted], and immediately requested a return and refund the same day, but the return on eBay was closed on March 6, [redacted]. Despite reaching out to the seller, there has been no response. I am feeling cheated and seek assistance in arranging the return of the incorrect item and obtaining a refund as per the return policy that states the seller is responsible for the return shipping cost listed on the packing slip.

My name is Natalie, and my eBay username is enveynat77. I purchased a ruby and white sapphire vintage gold Art Deco ring in October [redacted]. I returned it in mid-November [redacted]. The seller, roseworthy11, apologized and promised a $[redacted] refund upon receiving the ring. I sent it back at the end of November or early December [redacted]. Despite sending numerous emails about the refund, I have not received any response. The seller has blocked me, making it impossible to contact her. I simply want the refund I was promised for a faulty and tarnished ring. eBay has not been helpful, and I am unable to reach anyone regarding this issue. This lack of communication and failure to honor their commitment is unfair, and I am seeking the refund I am owed.

I bought a pen on eBay that was inaccurately described. However, when attempting to file a case online, I encountered issues with the eBay site. Upon chatting with a representative, they acknowledged the problem and initiated a case. It seems it was opened for "item not received" instead of "item not as described." Despite seeing a return label, I couldn't get the seller to provide one as I couldn't print it. Efforts to reach another eBay representative failed, as the case was closed due to proof of item receipt, which was not the actual issue. I'm now unable to contact anyone at eBay and feeling extremely frustrated.

I am an 85-year-old woman who fell victim to a fraudulent hacking incident claiming to be from Microsoft, requesting $[redacted] to fix it through gift card purchases. I mistakenly purchased $[redacted] worth of eBay gift cards using my Discover card. I only realized the mistake when questioned by a store clerk at another location. Being a nun, I tend to trust those who seem helpful. Can you assist in resolving the $[redacted] charge issue? I have 25 minutes now and will be free again at 10:30.
