I have a charge on my credit card statement from the Disney Movie Club, but I don't know what this service is nor do I think that I bought something from them. However, I have children and it's possible that they bought something with Disney that has to do with it. Therefore, before disputing the charge I decided to give them a call and talk to someone about the unknown charge to see if I could figure it out. I knew that customer service these days can be a challenge, but the directory was horrible to work with.
When I called, I had to listen through a long introductory that was blended with the directory that said this, "Thank you for calling the Disney Movie Club. Please listen carefully as some of the options have changed. To log in using your membership number, please press 1. To log in using the telephone number on file, press 2. If you would like to set up a telephone number to log in with, press 3. T0 go to the main menu, press star. If you would like to repeat this menu, press pound." Unfortunately, this isn't the first time I heard it.
There was no other way for me to enter anything to talk to an agent as none of these options worked. I kept trying to talk over the service or press the numbers. I tried to enter my number and it answered, "For verification purposes, please enter your zip code. We are sorry we are unable to find your information." This would have been fine, but then it took me back to the same main menu. no matter what I did, I always ended back at the same main menu. Eventually, I just gave up and decided to dispute the charge because there is no one to talk to about it.
