What are the hours and when should I call?

FreedomPop operates the call center for this 888-702-8302 phone number Mon-Fri 9am-5pm PST.  The short answer is that you should call on a Monday. This observation and the following section are based on analysis of a sample set of 25 calls made in the last 90 days using our free, web-based phone (see above).
An important note: busy times vs hold times vs best time to call
When we refer to busy or less busy times, we are talking about the volume of calls. The busiest times are when the most people are calling this FreedomPop phone number (least busy times have fewer people calling). This high call volume does not necessarily mean that you will have a long hold time when you call. Companies like FreedomPop staff their call centers differently based on the time of day and day of the week, so you may experience a shorter wait on hold at the busiest of times. When we refer to the best time to call, we are referring to the optimal combination of lower call volume and shorter wait times.

The least busy time to call

The least busy day to call FreedomPop is Monday. The most busy day to call FreedomPop is Tuesday.  Again, this is based on a sample of 25 calls made with our AI-powered, web-based phone in the last 90 days.

The shortest wait on hold

We measured the shortest hold times to be on Thursday. The longest wait in the queue on average occurs on Friday.

The best time to call

In summation, the best day to call FreedomPop is Monday.  This is not the day with the shortest wait on hold in the phone system, but we still recommend it for its ideal combination of low call volume and short hold times. Plus we believe that FreedomPop staffs the call center well on Monday.

Calling this FreedomPop Customer Number

2014-09-03T00:00:00.000Z

This number simply doesn't work. When you dial this number, all you get is a message from your cell phone provider saying that the number has been disconnected and your call cannot be completed as dialed. Given that FreedomPop is billed as offering free mobile services to its customers, that's kind of surprising that you'd get a disconnection notice.

It appears that FreedomPop does still exist, but it now operates with a different phone number: (888) 702-8302. Calling this number simply won't work, and any searches for this phone number don't return any links for FreedomPop's website. It seems that the company has taken down any mention of this number on its official channels, and this number was fully disconnected and removed from FreedomPop's network.

FreedomPop's own website suggests that it still offers customers the same items it did when it used this number. It appears that it's now marketed as a call service for seniors, however, which means a full break from the old number might not have been the best solution. Many seniors do write down all of their important phone numbers, and simply disconnecting without leaving a message on how to get to the current number might make it difficult for seniors to find out who they really need to call.

Based on this experience, there's absolutely no reason for anyone to use this number.
