On ******* I filed a warranty request for a buckling floor in our new DR Horton Home. On ******* Andrea Garrison issued WO *******-*** to have the floor repaired. On ******** a representative from ILG came and inspected the floor. He said he would send his report to DR Horton and proceed at their direction. After no updates from DR Horton I sent a number of emails and left multiple messages for Mrs. Garrison and received no response. She finally responded to a phone call, in early August saying she was waiting on the contractor report. After a curt letter sent by me to Mrs. Garrison on ******* she finally responded that the contractor was going to have to order materials before being able to complete repairs. We are coming up on three months of living with a buckled floor in our kitchen. This is unacceptable and I want a resolution immediately. This is a brand new community and I live on the main entrance road. A large sign stating that DR Horton does not respond to warranty request will be erected in my front yard tomorrow to make all new prospective customers to Woodfield Preserve aware of DR Horton's disregard for customer service. To have to resort to this level of communication to get some type of service is BS. After spending close to ***K to purchase a home from DR Horton , no one should have to chase the contractor to make right on his work. Tim Devine
