Hello, I'm Ida T., and I've been a loyal customer since [redacted]. I renewed my policy in February [redacted], under policy number CAA[redacted]75. Recently, I got a notice from the DMV saying my car registration could be suspended due to lack of insurance proof. After contacting AAA, I learned my insurance was canceled for non-payment by 03-01-19. Despite not receiving usual mail notices, I missed the deadline. AAA informed me that to start a new policy, I needed to pay $[redacted]. I was surprised by the new policy fee and requested to speak to a supervisor for help. As a long-time customer, I felt disappointed by the lack of flexibility given my oversight. I'm now waiting for a call back from a supervisor to explore options for reinstating my previous policy or setting up a new one without a down payment. I apologize for the oversight and hope for a positive resolution without any further hassles.

On March 21st, I visited the Johnson Ferry Location for AC repair. The issue was diagnosed as the compressor and repaired. After returning on the 15th due to the AC still not blowing cold air immediately, they couldn't diagnose the problem initially. When the AC failed to start upon return, the technician observed the issue. They suggested waiting for the original tech to return for a diagnosis. After the car was left with them the whole day, the issue wasn't present, frustratingly. The manager, Jay Walkup, declined further discussion. Requesting a resolution to the problem without the need for legal action. Thank you. Unpleased Customer, Tammara Austin

I encountered an issue at your Troy, Michigan office with an agent who was very rude and unhelpful. Yesterday, when I called to make a payment towards my policy, I was met with a lack of professionalism. Despite being informed months ago about payment options, the agent (a male) was dismissive. He insisted that I should contact my local office and that only full payments were accepted, despite my previous installment payments. Feeling disrespected, I ended the call and sought assistance from another office, where I was able to successfully complete the transaction that the initial agent claimed couldn't be done.

Hello, this is Nikhil. I recently discovered that there are two renters insurance policies linked to my account, but I should only have one. Despite my efforts to contact my agent, I couldn't reach them to resolve this issue. I found out about the additional policy when I accessed my account with my old email address and noticed it was added from July 25th last year to July 25th this year for my previous address on [redacted] Continental Dr. The policy number I wish to be removed is P[redacted]1 as it was unknown to me and was automatically deducted from my account. I have been trying to communicate through emails and calls but haven't received a response from my agent, Brian Gregory. I hope to resolve this matter before the next charge of $27 on May 25th. I have documentation of my current renters and car insurance with AAA and would like to ensure I am not charged for the additional policy I was unaware of. Thank you for your assistance.

I am experiencing issues with AAA membership cancellation without receiving a billing for a service. Following a hit-and-run accident last year, AAA towed my vehicle twice. Despite multiple attempts, I could not obtain billing details for the tows to claim reimbursement from the hit-and-run driver's insurance. I contacted AAA New Mexico for the required information but was unsuccessful. Subsequently, I never received a billing for a fourth service but received a cancellation threat from AAA. I made efforts to have the tows reimbursed through the driver's insurance, but AAA did not cooperate by providing the necessary details. This situation was unprofessional and irresponsible on AAA's part and not due to any fault of mine. I seek assistance in addressing these issues promptly as it was entirely the fault of AAA New Mexico, not the member. - Krista

On Friday afternoon, May 24th, our household contacted an insurance agent, Christopher Gonzales, for a quote on home and car insurance. Gonzales enrolled us online and processed the payment using our American Express card for the full insurance amount on both our car and house. Upon reviewing the policy, we found the coverage for our home to be insufficient and costlier than our previous insurance. Despite our attempts to cancel the policy the next morning, we were informed only Gonzales had the authority to do so. Despite leaving messages with Gonzales and another agent, Daniel Wilson, over the weekend and on Monday and Tuesday, our requests went unanswered. Finally, Gonzales agreed to cancel the policy on Tuesday, but advised us of a $[redacted] charge for early cancellation. He mentioned this fee could have been waived had we contacted him on Saturday. Our longstanding membership ID is [redacted][redacted].

Claim Number AU33-[redacted]-01: Accident occurred on 5-22-[redacted], and my car is currently at the repair shop. The adjuster has assessed the damages. Agent Chloe Harper mentioned that a rental car cannot be authorized if my car is drivable. Despite this, due to the car shaking with a headlight out, it is unsafe to drive. It is disconcerting that the insurance company finds it acceptable to drive in such a condition. Typically, insurance companies authorize rentals for repairs, limited to 30 days. I am disappointed in how AAA is handling this situation. The accident was your driver's fault, yet I feel penalized. I expected AAA to take care of me within the bounds of their policy. Missing two doctors' appointments due to the car's condition, I now understand that the adjuster's assessment is done. Ms. Harper noted that rentals are not authorized on Fridays, only on Mondays or Tuesdays. This policy seems unfair, as the need for a rental does not end just because it is the weekend.

I recently purchased AAA Insurance and unfortunately experienced a distressing situation when I was stranded for over 2 hours. Despite contacting multiple departments and speaking with a supervisor, I was informed that to receive assistance, I would need to pay an additional $75. As I had already spent all my remaining funds on the membership, I had no choice but to walk home for 6 hours. Being left stranded by a service meant to help is disheartening and I am deeply disappointed by the lack of support in my time of need. Moving forward, I will not be continuing my business with this company and I feel compelled to share my negative experience with others. -Gabriel A. [redacted]

I would like to file a complaint about the Menomonee Falls office. My family and I have been planning a Disney trip since last year, and the travel agent we've been dealing with, Monica Fedel, has been terrible. We have had a negative experience with her lack of communication regarding payment deadlines and her unresponsiveness to our attempts to reach out. Despite her promises to call us back, she never does. The service we have received from her at AAA has been the worst we've ever encountered. Dealing with her has caused multiple inconveniences for us. She claims to be the only travel agent managing multiple counties, which is hard to believe. If there is any way to compensate us with food vouchers or something for our trip, that would be appreciated. It is imperative that someone addresses these issues with her and provides her with the necessary assistance.

Hello, a few months ago, I purchased AAA insurance after being a member for years. I decided to get auto insurance as well at the Glendora office with agent Tristan J. The initial setup went smoothly with a monthly rate that suited me. However, the first billing month went awry as they didn't deduct the funds from my account. I contacted customer service, and they explained I wasn't supposed to pay until the next month. Subsequently, my bill spiked due to a delay in activating my policy by my agent. After multiple attempts to resolve the issue with the store manager and my agent, I reached out to Jessica G. at the LA headquarters. Despite assurances to rectify the situation, I faced rude demands for a payment threatening collection. Disappointed by the unprofessionalism, I'm seeking a prompt resolution. I've always valued AAA's service and hope this incident can be addressed promptly. Thank you.

While driving on the freeway, my car's air conditioner suddenly stopped working, and the car started to slow down. I pulled over to the shoulder and called AAA, a service I have had for years. Unfortunately, upon calling, I encountered their automated system that struggled to understand me, causing frustration. The system also warned of service delays in Northern California. After 12 minutes of attempting to reach a live person, I was mistakenly transferred to Southern California, further complicating the situation. Eventually, my husband tried and after a seventeen-minute hold, he was able to speak with someone. This experience was far from the emergency service AAA promises. Even the tow truck driver had difficulty finding me, despite my accurate location description to AAA. This entire ordeal was incredibly unsafe and disappointing, especially considering the loyalty and money my husband and I have invested in AAA membership over the years.

Hello, my name is Lance Russell. Last night at 7:45, I encountered two deer running out in front of me, resulting in me swerving and blowing out two tires by hitting a curb. After contacting your company for a tow, a rollback arrived two and a half hours later. The driver's request for a generous tip right from the start didn't sit well with me. Despite my attempts to guide him on correctly hooking up my custom truck, he disregarded my advice, causing potential damage. After a frustrating interaction, he left, and I was left stranded. Eventually, with the help of another towing company, my truck was safely towed home around 4 in the morning. I am disappointed with the service provided and the unprofessional behavior of the initial driver.

I had an extremely negative experience with AAA today. The employees were unable to answer my policy questions, were rude, and I am still waiting past the promised time for assistance. I find it audacious to receive an email about renewing/upgrading my account under these circumstances. I would like to escalate my complaint to a higher authority beyond a manager. My interaction with Charlie, the call center manager in Providence, and Robin was unprofessional and unhelpful. This experience has led me to cancel not only my membership but additional family accounts. Despite my skepticism, I hope to receive a response. I am thoroughly dissatisfied and wish to cancel my membership for a partial refund due to poor service.

I recently had a new gel battery installed in my [redacted] Porsche Carrera on May 11, [redacted]. I drove the car regularly, and even used a battery tender when not driving it. However, the battery died just six weeks later on June 18th. Rector Porsche now has the car, and they are indicating that the battery is incorrect for this model and is also not holding a charge. I am seeking reimbursement for the battery due to its short lifespan. Rector Porsche is documenting the issues and agreeing that the battery is not suitable. It is concerning that a battery would fail in such a short time, despite the use of a battery tender. I am hoping for assistance with this matter and appreciate your attention to it. I have been a loyal AAA member for over 50 years. Thank you for your help.

On the 8th of July at around 1:20 pm, I contacted AAA from my car for assistance due to a flat tire on the interstate. Initially, I was informed that help would arrive within an hour, but later, I was notified that it would take 5 hours. Eventually, I received a call stating that there was no available assistance. Feeling let down by the service, I decided to reach out to local garages for help. Fortunately, the second garage I contacted promptly dispatched a truck to change and repair the tire. I am extremely disappointed with AAA's service and am considering canceling my policy due to this unacceptable experience.

To whom it may concern, My parents had an unexpected trip across the country last year. While passing through Memphis and visiting Graceland, they had a flat tire in a slightly risky neighborhood. Two individuals demanded $[redacted] each to change the tire. Thankfully, a kind AAA worker intervened, chasing them off. He not only changed the tire but also checked the oil, belts, and even gave them a GPS when they were lost. Unfortunately, they misplaced his contact information but I found the GPS with Uncle Dave's written on it. Can you please acknowledge this AAA hero, described as a strong African American man with a United States Marine Corps tattoo, possibly named Kelvin, Keith, or Kevin? His actions were truly appreciated. Thank you for any assistance in reaching out to him. God bless.

I contacted on July 4th regarding coverage for my vehicle and my husband's, along with rental insurance. I received a quote, decided to proceed, and provided my debit card details. However, my husband later objected and requested to cancel the policy. We called back within 6 minutes to cancel but were told it would take 14 to 15 days for a refund. Despite being assured the policy was canceled, I later discovered on July 12th that it wasn't until then. Now, we're stuck with two policies due to what seems like a push for commission rather than providing good service.

I have been a member since [redacted]. I added my son, Michael, to my policy with ID [redacted][redacted]. At around 1 am this morning, my son called as he was stranded with a flat tire and no spare. The lady who answered, named Monica, canceled the tow initially, claiming my son's voice sounded different and making accusations of fraud. After threats of legal action, the tow was eventually initiated, but my son had to wait until 5:14 am, leaving him stranded for 4 hours. This situation was unacceptable. Canceling assistance based on someone's voice is both absurd and disrespectful. I request a call back to address this issue promptly. If any harm had come to my son during this time, I would have held AAA accountable for the delay.

As a disabled senior citizen, I find myself locked out of my apartment. The previous manager is no longer available, and the owner terminated her husband. Despite contacting AAA, I was initially given hope as a Premier member for 18 years that they could send a locksmith to assist me based on the verified address match. Unfortunately, after inconsistencies and conversations with multiple representatives and managers, it was revealed that I could not receive help as my identification with a P.O box was not sufficient. Hollywood Locksmith, contacted by a manager, declined to help as well. I am now stranded outside while dealing with harassment from a neighbor. I hope that my situation gets resolved soon.

I contacted AAA for roadside service for my vehicle. I informed the representative of the address and mentioned that I would meet the driver to pay the storage fees. When arriving to pick up my vehicle, AAA called to say my request was canceled as they believed payment was due. After making the payment and notifying AAA, they said a truck would arrive within an hour. Despite confirming the payment twice, it took three hours and multiple calls to arrange a tow. This delay was frustrating considering I have a membership with them. I am unhappy with their policies and customer service, so I will not be renewing my membership this year.
