Please help, I'm a lifelong AAA member. I'm also a ** year disabled American Veteran. My son Richard James Evans POLICY CAAS********* PHONE ***-***-**** ADDRESS **** ANTELOPE CT. WEED CA. ***** played a voice mail for me this morning that was quite disturbing. I am hoping that it was an error and maybe a lack of training on the part of the representative of your company. My son is very upset and I completely understand why after listening to a AAA representative tell him that the AAA computer had some sort of glitch and didn't register his five vehicles and he shouldn't drive for the next sixty days until they can work it out. This is unreasonable and unacceptable. My son went to the DMV and was told this is an insurance company issue and he is responsible to pay fines and all of his registrations will be suspended as well as the fact that they can't reinstate anything until they receive a proof of insurance from your company that told him once again that they can not figure out the problem. But his receipt of payment and proof of insurance should be good enough for the DMV. We know that's not how the system works. California law clearly states that the insurance carrier is responsible for proof of insurance into the system. My sons life has been turned upside down because of a computer error. Please assign someone competent to reinstate my sons registrations and provide him with the confidence that AAA stands for. When a customer pays there premiums on time for years and remains loyal to your company they should be able to sleep at night knowing they don't have to worry about being cancel because of a computer glitch. then told to handle it on their own then told not to drive until it is worked out. I also know that AAA is a reputable company I will always count on and that this is an isolated incident that your company will remedy. AAA is a long standing tradition in my family.
