I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the DPD delivery service. Despite being informed that my parcel would arrive on Friday September 3, [redacted], no driver showed up, and I later received a photo of a different house claiming delivery was attempted. This was crucial as the parcel contained Covid tests for my daughter and partner, who needed them before traveling back to Germany. Despite contacting the Newcastle depot and requesting redelivery, no one arrived. When I called back on Saturday, I was told the parcel was back at the depot and could only be delivered on Monday, which was too late. Despite being promised a call back, I have yet to hear from anyone. I urge you to investigate the matter, review the phone call from Friday where redelivery was assured, and address the mishap. I have missed the delivery of my parcel two days in a row, despite the tracking system indicating it could be delivered to a neighbor. On the third attempt, the tracking status now shows "held in depot" but with no further details. I've tried reaching out through live chat and WhatsApp but have been unsuccessful in getting help. The customer service experience so far has been unsatisfactory, turning a minor inconvenience into a formal complaint. I recently began working at DPD in Hebburn. I have been there for about a week now. Every morning, one of the floor managers talks to me in a way that feels condescending. Today, he mentioned that I had not placed the pink boxes where they were supposed to be, insisting they belong on a specific pallet. I explained that I had put them in the correct place, but he still made a rude comment. Later, after I left, I received a text saying they no longer need me. I believe this situation was unjust as there is plenty of work available and new people are starting often. I am looking for advice on how to address this issue professionally.

Hello! I have a non-urgent question regarding my recent Sass & Belle order delivered by DPD. I reside in a flat with two sets of stairs, and I understand the challenges of delivering such large packages upstairs. I left a note requesting the delivery driver's assistance to bring the parcels up due to my disability. However, on two separate occasions, I was still asked to come downstairs to collect the parcels. I have mentioned my inability to come down three out of four times my intercom was buzzed. I am concerned the driver might not have seen my delivery request note. I operate a small business located within a University, and I am experiencing issues with DPD drivers who consistently leave my stock at the reception instead of delivering it directly to my shop. This situation forces me to close the shop, locate a cart, and transport the items myself, resulting in a 30-minute inconvenience. Consequently, I risk losing customers or keeping them waiting for an extended period. This ongoing problem has strained my relationship with the University, as reception staff are forced to deal with the delivery drivers who neglect proper procedures. The shop is independently owned and not affiliated with the University. Today, I am anticipating a significant delivery, which will further exacerbate the situation if I am required to close the shop and retrieve the items personally.

I have recently encountered issues with the delivery service provided by John Pye through your courier service. Typically, I have not faced any problems in the past. Despite being notified of two deliveries scheduled for November 1st, I received conflicting emails regarding the specific delivery times and slots. Subsequently, the parcels did not arrive as expected, causing inconvenience as I had arranged for someone to be home. The lack of updates, apologies, or clear reasons for these delays has been frustrating. Furthermore, a similar incident occurred with another parcel scheduled for November 4th. It is understandable for mistakes to occur occasionally, but experiencing these issues twice within a short timeframe is concerning. I suggest ensuring that notification emails are sent only when the parcel is ready at the depot to avoid further inconveniences.

I had a package delivery from Pets Love Fresh, and the delivery driver was very rude to me. I am in a wheelchair and unable to carry parcels. When I kindly asked him to take the food parcel into my kitchen because I have no one to help me and the food would spoil if left outside to defrost, he laughed at me. He also insulted me by calling me a lazy woman. This is unacceptable behavior, especially considering my severe disabilities from a broken back. Other drivers have kindly brought in packages wearing proper protective equipment. I do not expect such rudeness from your delivery team. My name is Maria D., and my postal code is TQ7 3SL.

I have been attempting to submit a complaint through DPD's website, but upon filling out the form and pressing 'submit,' nothing occurs. Can you please assist? I must express a strong complaint about today's delivery by 'Reggie.' When delivering on a busy road, he neglected to close the gate after himself, leading to two of my dogs escaping onto the road and getting involved with passing vehicles. Thankfully, they were unharmed, and I was able to retrieve them before they reached the neighboring field with sheep. This could have been a disastrous situation caused by the delivery person's negligence in closing the gate. It seems he lacks consideration for safety and responsibility essential for his job. If any harm had come to my dogs or if they had entered the sheep field, I would have held both him and your company accountable for the lack of proper training of your delivery drivers.

Dear Forum Members, I am writing to report receiving two text messages from different mobile numbers claiming to have missed me at my address, although I have not left my home nor has anyone come to my door. I suspect these messages are from scammers. I contacted DPD customer service and spoke with Amanda, explaining that no one has visited me or left a card. Last week, my package was delivered to a pharmacy despite clear instructions on the parcel to leave it at my property. Even when I called the customer service center, they confirmed the correct delivery instructions in their system. The driver didn't follow these instructions and dropped off the package at a pharmacy that I can't reach due to work hours. The parcel is now being taken back to the depot today instead of being left at my property as initially requested. I need my parcel redelivered. Last week, I specifically requested that it be left behind the blue bin at my address. Instead, the driver delivered it to a pharmacy I cannot reach due to work hours. Rather than delivering it to my home as instructed, they plan to return it to the depot today. I reported this issue last week, but my complaint was disregarded. Please arrange for the parcel to be redelivered promptly.

Hello, I am expecting a package from France, specifically a Cintiq digital tablet. Although I paid the import fees of [redacted].21 as requested by DPD, once the parcel reached the Barking DPD depot, they initiated a return to the sender without attempting delivery. Trying to contact them has been challenging, and I am unable to modify the delivery schedule or arrange for pickup at a DPD facility. This situation is frustrating as I need the tablet for work. Hello, I was expecting a parcel to be delivered yesterday, but the driver couldn't find my address. I rescheduled for delivery today, the 7th, to a nearby convenience store. However, today the driver texted me again, saying he couldn't locate my address. This parcel contains important documents that I need today. A parcel was delivered at 6:16 PM. Before the driver reached the front door, I heard the DPD van closing and some rattling noises at the gate. The driver handed me the parcel and departed. After 5 minutes, I went out to ensure the gate was properly closed due to my dog being outside. To my surprise, the gate post was on the ground, broken at the base, with the gate leaning against another one that was not used frequently. The metal bar that secures the gate in the ground was still down on the propped gate, indicating forced entry and significant damage. Our neighbor can confirm the gate was intact and closed all day. The driver's swift exit and lack of contact information is frustrating. I seek immediate resolution.

I believe my Power of Attorney document, essential for managing my dad's property in India after his passing, has gone missing. I need this for job verification in the UK. The tracking number [redacted] I entered on now.dpd.co.uk indicates it was delivered, but my relatives in India haven't received it. The delivery record states it was handed over to a person named "DELIVERED" on Wednesday at 11:30 am. Unfortunately, I can't go out due to a housemate testing positive for COVID-19. I traveled from Southampton to London last weekend to authenticate the document and now fear losing the property. I find the situation distressing and your service lacking professionalism. A package delivered by Mateusz at DPD on 21 December [redacted] arrived on time, although marked fragile, it had a visible dent as shown in the proof of delivery photo left at the door. Unfortunately, a piece of broken glass was found inside. I recently noticed the photo around 5:15 PM while traveling and would like DPD to resend it to me as evidence of the damage. I seemed to have lost the photo on my phone, possibly due to providing feedback which mistakenly implied satisfaction. I'm requesting DPD to kindly send me the proof of delivery photo for parcel number [redacted][redacted] from Fenwick. I wonder if the photo could be deleted without my awareness. Thank you.

My package was delivered to the wrong address, and the photo provided by customer service showed a different building, not mine. It was a Christmas gift, and I was informed by customer service that this issue was due to a signature problem. However, the photo should have shown the person who signed for it if that was the case, instead of just the parcel outside a door. I was told this internal matter will take 5 working days to resolve. So much for a merry Christmas for me.

Today, on December 22nd, I received a notification on my phone claiming a DPD driver tried to deliver a parcel to my home on December 21st, [redacted]. I am questioning the legitimacy of this message due to the numerous scam attempts I have encountered before. I find it hard to believe that I missed the delivery as I am frequently home. I have dogs that are quite vigilant and alert me whenever someone approaches the door. Additionally, my son was also present in the house that day and would have responded to the doorbell. Given the circumstances, I would like to arrange for another delivery attempt. Could you please advise if there would be any fees associated with rescheduling the delivery?

I paid for a delivery online to be collected on Monday, December 20, [redacted], but it was taken to the pickup shop a day earlier on Sunday, December 19. The parcel stayed at the shop until Wednesday, December 22, even though it was scanned every day as per the tracking information. I retrieved it and sent it via another service for it to arrive by Christmas Eve. I attempted to claim a refund online, but it says I can't because the parcel was in transit, even though it was not collected. I have tried to contact DPD multiple times without success. I still want to cancel and get a refund, but it seems impossible to reach them through any method of communication.

I purchased a "Day2" COVID test kit for my return to the UK on January 9, [redacted]. Unfortunately, it was delivered on January 4th when no one was home, even though the neighbors were available. I rescheduled the delivery for January 10th but it never arrived, even with us being home all day and security cameras to confirm. I have contacted DPD via email and live chat with no response.
