The issue in GetHuman-janicedk's own words
Last month we reserved Property ID: ******* for **** and for ***. A few days later the hosts asked us to cancel due to a calendar syncing issue. Moments later they emailed saying that they resolved that and said everything was fine with our reservation. A couple of days ago they emailed saying they couldn't honor the booking, but could accommodate us elsewhere in a shared basement space. I said that would not work for us, as we are bringing our ** year old mother and do not want her to have to share a bathroom with strangers as if we were in a hostel. They stopped responding to our emails and phone calls asking them to cancel this bait-and-switch and refund our money. I believe they lied to us about the earlier resolution so that we would be outside of the refund deadline, and always had this bait-and-switch plan in mind. No where in their listing do they describe this as a shared space with a long term tenant, which they are apparently having a hard time getting out of the space. Please cancel our booking on **** and *** and refund our money.*Thank you.*Janice Killion
