When hosting on Airbnb, getting paid is one of the most rewarding parts. But if your payout doesn’t arrive, don’t panic. It happens and can usually be fixed quickly. Common reasons include an unconfirmed payment method, a delay in Airbnb’s processing, a banking issue, or an account review. Airbnb typically releases payouts 24 hours after guest check-in, but it may take a few extra days depending on your payment method. If your payout is missing or delayed, this simple step-by-step guide will walk you through what to check, how to fix it, and when to contact support.
Go to airbnb.com and click on Log In in the top right corner.
Enter your email and password to access your host dashboard.
Once you're logged in, find your profile picture in the top-right corner of the screen. Click on it to open the drop-down menu, then click on “Account”.
Click on “Payments & Payouts” on the left-hand side. Click on “Payouts” to view all the payments Airbnb has sent or is processing.
On the Payouts page, you’ll see a list of recent and upcoming payouts. Look at the payout in question:If it says “Pending”, it’s still being processed. If it says “Completed”, check with your bank or payment method. If it’s not listed at all, it could mean Airbnb hasn’t released it yet.
In the same “Payments & Payouts” section, click on “Payout Methods” to make sure your bank details or PayPal info are up-to-date. If you haven’t set up a method, Airbnb won’t send your payment.
Sometimes hosts forget when payouts are due. Go to your calendar or bookings tab and check when the guest checked in. Remember, Airbnb only sends payments 24 hours after check-in. If your guest just arrived, you might just need to wait.
Airbnb may email you if there’s a problem with your account or payout. Check your inbox and spam folder for messages from Airbnb. They may ask for more information or say your account is under review.
If everything looks fine but you still haven’t received your money, it’s time to contact Airbnb.
To contact Airbnb, scroll to the bottom of the homepage and click “Help Center.” In the search bar, type “missing payout” and click on the article that matches your issue. Scroll down and select “Contact Us”. Chat with support team. You can also opt to call them to move things a bit faster.
Be sure to include your booking number, payout ID (if any), and the date of check-in when contacting support.
If your Airbnb payout is missing, there’s a clear process to follow. Start by logging into your account and checking the “Payouts” section for the payment status—look for “Pending” or “Completed.” Make sure your payment method is correctly set up and verified. Double-check the guest’s check-in date, as payouts are only sent 24 hours after that. Review your email, including the spam folder, for any messages from Airbnb. If everything looks fine but the payout is still missing, contact Airbnb through the Help Center and provide your booking details to help resolve the issue quickly.
GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like AirBnB in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What Do I Do If I'm Missing My Host Payout on AirBnB? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
