I bought a motorcycle in ****, paid it off in ****, and discovered in **** that it still had a lien, the holder being Household Retail Services. This company was sold off in **** and Capital One now holds the lien. I moved to a different state and need my title to register my bike. However, Capital One's title department is asking me to send the original bill of sale and proof of pay-off, both of which I did not keep since the bike was paid off ** years ago.**I am frustrated that it is impossible to get through to a human being at the title department to resolve the issue. And my mailed letters simply get the same response, i.e. "send these documents." **How can I get my lien released and a "same as" letter so that the Ohio BMV will give me my title?**John Evans
