Hello,**I went into Petco in Killingly, CT today to buy * more glow fish for my * year old daughter. The "assistant manager", who made sure to condescendingly tell that to me when arguing with me, asked me what size tank for my glo-fish that i have and how many. I informed him of the size (*.* gal) and he immediately said "that's too many". I bought a glo-fish kit from Petco that said I can have up to ** in it. The * i was purchasing would make it **. He went on for * minutes arguing with my wife and I, who were holding our * year old, about how "i'm the assistant manager and you're going to kill the fish". We eventually said we want the * fish and he REFUSED and argued with us for * more minutes stating "no, get a bigger tank" (he repeated this * times). No, i'm not exaggerating. Your assistant manager refused to sell us your products. After * more minutes my wife said "we didn't ask you opinion we came in here to purchase those * fish from this store" and he finally said "alright" very sarcastically and proceeded to get the net. He, then, picked the smaller of the * when we stated we wanted the larger ones and said "well you are getting these because they're smaller". We said no, we want the larger ones. He finally did as we asked, avoided eye contact, and handed us the fish. **Is this how Petco wants their customers treated? Your assistant manager at this store was aggressive with my wife (holding a * year old), told us we are going to kill fish, and refused to sell us your products. **I want this rectified with a gift card, a refund, or some monetary value. I do not plan to be a customer at Petco ever again if this is not handled properly.
