I recently signed up for a PayPal account and shortly after, I received an email notifying me of the following: ---------------------------------- Your PayPal Account Has Been Permanently Limited We have reviewed your account and identified a potential risk, leading us to permanently limit your account. Consequently, PayPal services are no longer available to you. Any linked bank or credit card information cannot be transferred to another account. While you can access your account information, transactions like sending or receiving money are restricted. If there are funds in your PayPal balance, they will be held for up to [redacted] days. You will receive instructions via email on how to access the funds after this period. ----------------------------------- I am looking for clarification on why this occurred and what steps can be taken to resolve the issue.

I recently made a purchase on a website called shop3.onlinesale2022.ru for $40.79 that hasn't arrived as expected. The site seemed to be down temporarily, which made me concerned about the order. Additionally, there have been unauthorized attempts to purchase items using my wife's credit card since then. I have been unable to reach the website for assistance. I am now looking to get a refund for the order and we will be replacing the credit card. I appreciate any help with this matter. Thank you for your assistance.

I would like to delete the old email and register the new one with Paypal using my phone number [redacted]6. I have encountered an issue with Gmail while trying to set up an account for transactions with my funds. Despite multiple attempts, I was unable to proceed due to mismatched information. After being locked out, I attempted to use a new Gmail address, [redacted], but faced complications as it was linked to another Gmail account, [redacted] I then signed up using my phone number, [redacted], however, I failed to note down the password. I recently received an email that appeared genuine from PayPal. It stated that I owed $[redacted], which seemed suspicious to me. I contacted the customer support number provided in case of suspected fraudulent activities on my PayPal account. The person I spoke with raised red flags for me. He insisted that I visit a website, ykbackend.xyz, which I chose not to do as it felt wrong. Despite my reservations, he pressed on, claiming I had reached out to them and offering a refund without specifying details about my alleged purchases. This entire interaction seems like a scam. I am eager to get in touch with a legitimate PayPal representative to assist me in resolving this issue. Thank you.

Subject: Urgent Account Issue with PayPal To Whom It May Concern, I hope this message reaches you well. I am writing this letter to express my extreme frustration with the recent handling of my PayPal account. I recently created an account on Ko-Fi to sell my photography, and a friend kindly made a donation which was deposited into my PayPal account. However, I was shocked to discover that my account was frozen due to suspicious activity. I complied with the request for my passport copy, only to then be informed that my account must have at least €[redacted] in sales from 5 transactions and be in "good standing" for 60 days for it to be unfrozen. I use PayPal for legitimate purposes and find it unacceptable that my account is restricted in this manner. The demands and threats issued by PayPal are unjust and unacceptable. I insist that my account be reinstated immediately, and I expect a formal apology for this unwarranted inconvenience. Your prompt attention to this matter is appreciated. Sincerely, Robin S. PS: I have been informed that my account will remain suspended for 21 days until I meet the criteria of 5 transactions totaling €[redacted]. Good morning, I recently received an email from 'PayPal' on 8/16 regarding an updated invoice from their Billing Department. The email stated an amount due of $[redacted].00 USD for a Walmart eGift Card purchase, which was flagged for potential unauthorized access to my account. They mentioned that the debited amount will reflect in my PayPal activity within 24 hours. I have not used PayPal in a while and am certain I did not make this transaction. They provided a toll-free number +1 [redacted] for assistance or suggested visiting the PayPal Support Center during their service hours from 06:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m. Pacific Time, Monday through Friday. I'm experiencing an issue with resolving a matter on Etsy. Instead of initiating a case there, I've been directed to go to www.paypal.com/disputes. However, when attempting to contact support through messaging, I'm prompted to log in and provide a mobile phone number. As I don't currently possess a mobile phone, I'm unable to proceed. I find it frustrating that there isn't an alternative verification method in place, such as sending a code to an email address. This makes it impossible for me to log in and access the "Dispute a Transaction" link.

All payments I made from July 12th to July 20th should have been declined. Since the beginning of July, I've been under reinforced guardianship. I wasn't allowed to overdraft anymore due to my gambling addiction. When trying to use PayPal, it wouldn't work initially, but after insistence or waiting a few days, it would go through even though my bank account had no funds and no overdraft authorization. This was irregular as I wasn't supposed to be able to overdraft anymore according to my guardian, and I managed to withdraw a significant amount of money. That's why my guardian contacted the bank, leading to the rejection of the recent payments. You refunded the last three payments, but my balance remains at -€[redacted].90 (unchanged post refund). Please also refund the other transactions from July 12th to July 20th, which should have been declined. My account under the username @DVERZ, email sunrize1972 at yahoo.com, and phone number [redacted] was permanently limited due to transaction ID number 8EF88795R[redacted]B, a purchase from another eBay seller, according to the information I received from PayPal. The item arrived broken, was returned, and a refund transaction ID on August 11 at 3:29 AM is 2TW560963E154170R. Despite speaking with PayPal, they couldn't provide further details or reasons for limiting my account, stating an email may or may not follow. Having a solid selling history on eBay since [redacted] without an issue, I used PayPal for various transactions and even had a PayPal credit line. I urge PayPal to review and resolve this matter promptly, either by reinstating the account or providing clear justifications for their actions. Until then, I believe the suspension is unwarranted. It has been one month and I am continuously faced with the "we can't confirm it's you" message. Despite my numerous attempts to contact customer service via phone and text, I have received zero help from PayPal. I am utterly disappointed with the level of complexity involved in accessing my account compared to the poor customer service provided by PayPal. It is frustrating to only receive automated responses and never once speak with an actual person for assistance. I have been calling every day for the past three weeks without any success in reaching a human representative, despite the issue originating from PayPal's end. Every time I try to communicate through text, I am provided the same unhelpful response and when I call the given number, my calls are never answered.

I inadvertently clicked on a Chinese company's website that directed me to your site, which I suspect is a scam. I do not use PayPal, never had it, and do not want it. Please delete all the information they provided, including my credit card number and order details. I want no association with your site, and I am considering legal action for unauthorized usage. Please erase all my data from your system immediately. I will take further action if not resolved promptly. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Hello, my name is Pastor S. Powell. I intended to open a PayPal account with the email [redacted] Accidentally, I selected the business account option, which does not apply to me as I am a leader in an International prayer group. We aim to create a PayPal account for members to donate a small monthly amount to assist those in need. When I was asked for a registered business number, I left it blank as I don't have one, but I was unable to proceed. I decided to stop the form filling process. Today, I received notification that my dispute has been resolved. However, I am facing an issue with having to return the items to China, which will incur expensive international shipping costs. I initially paid $6 for these items that were actually sent from Fullerton, California. The seller did not mention that returns should be sent to China, and even their Facebook Messenger page indicates the items were shipped from the USA. I did not receive an invoice with a return address, which seems intentional to dissuade returns. I believe I should be able to return the items to the Fulfillment Center in Fullerton, CA, so that I am not unfairly penalized by losing out on a full refund due to high shipping expenses to China. The deadline for returning the items is September 15th, and I hope my case can remain open as per the records you have, especially since Agent Prawal from my previous communication with PayPal assisted me.

Today, on September 8, [redacted], I received a notification on my cell phone stating that a Pay Pal code, under my name Laurel G. Bracey, had been utilized. This is concerning because my Pay Pal account was frozen on April 4, [redacted], following my submission of an Affidavit of Fraud to Pay Pal. I promptly closed the account upon confirmation of unauthorized activity and reported the fraudulent purchases to the local police. The recent text messages from Pay Pal were unexpected, and I have no intention of reopening my account right now.

I cannot access my PayPal account from either my phone or PC. When I try to reset my password, the only verification option available is through the PayPal app, from which I am also locked out. I am completely unable to access my account and cannot use any other forms of verification like text messages or email codes.

1. Some users are encountering an issue where Paypal now requires a mobile number after logging in, even if they can't receive text messages, making it impossible to complete the login process. 2. After attempting to resolve the issue through changing the password and starting a chat session, the support team mentioned receiving an email response. 3. Upon checking the email from Paypal and clicking the link provided, the user found themselves back at the same login screen, being prompted to provide a mobile number without an alternative login option available.

My account is showing multiple unauthorized charges that I haven't made. I suspect someone has been using either my deceased wife's or my PayPal card. My name is Christopher Young, sometimes listed as Chris on the card, and my wife's name on the card is Loraine Mayenschein. The billing address for the card is [redacted] McClure St., Ash KY [redacted] and 43 Township Rd. [redacted], Ironton, Ohio [redacted]. There have been numerous charges, and I am concerned that our taxes may have been filed fraudulently. Please reach out to me at [redacted] or [redacted]. The invoices are being sent to [redacted] and [redacted] Any recent charges made in the last 6 months are not authorized, as we haven't used the PayPal card during that time. If the charges are under Loraine Mayenschein or Young, they are not legitimate.

Hello, I am currently experiencing an issue with Paypal regarding a 4-part payment plan. I have multiple payments in 4 installments in progress, and the last repayment failed. I was asked to update my credit card information, which I did, but I am still unable to complete the last installment because Paypal cannot use my card for this payment. I tried adding my bank account, but that also failed. My bank has confirmed that there are no restrictions on my card for online payments. Interestingly, I can still make online purchases using Paypal with the same card. I have tried reaching out to Paypal through various means without success. Best regards.
