I might have one of the sadder stories from the Tuesday Taylor Swift presale. I didn't mind waiting the two and a half hours in the queue, but once I got through and started selecting the five seats for my wife and daughters and I, after I clicked on the first couple of "available" seats, a few of them started to disappear. Based on the Ticketmaster description of giving all buyers a more relaxed, ten-minute buying atmosphere than previously, I figured it was the bots grabbing these seats that were reserved for a buyer like me (presale authorized code ABG**RV via *****@***.com). So I patiently kept trying to secure the seats* they kept disappearing, kind of like "whack-a-mole." On my fifth attempt I finally secured five seats: Section ***, Row **, seats *-**, on Saturday May ** at Gillette Stadium. I then clicked on "next." The next screen appeared, with my seats showing up in the middle third of the screen, blinking. But to my horror, I noticed that the top third and bottom third of the screen had gone black, and no amount of clicking or trouble shooting could unfreeze the screen and complete the sale, as the timer wound down to zero and the seats vanished. Now I see these seats are for sale at Ace Ticket in Boston for well over $**** each. Ugh. This doesn't seem right. Is there anything you can do for me? Many thanks in advance. Dave Ostrow (husband of Alice Domar, at *****@***.com and *****@***.com.)
