Bank of America *** number-should have handled this on my first attempt-it took me too much effort. exhausting

Getting $*** illegally transferred returned to my account-the money was taken on Sept * ... $*** was taken out of my checking account nearly * weeks ago. Bank of America said on Monday that the money would be in my account in ** hours, which would have been Wednesday around *:**PM. The money has not been returned. I call the person at my bank who was trying to help with this. He was told it would be in my account either last night or this morning. It is not in my account. I have not been able to reach the person at my branch today. They probably had someone call out sick. I have bills to pay and need that money. I would like a phone call ***-***-****
I spent * hours on the phone-spoke with ** people-the lack of interest on the part of the first * people was completely appalling. They tried to blame me because Venmo took the money from my account (unauthorized) because they had my account number from when I transferred money sent to me via Venmo into my account at Bank of America. B of A said they were sending me a message via my account-the message appeared to be incomplete with no way for me to fulfill their request. I had to go into the branch to get help. I spent at least * hours with B of A and *.* on the phone with Venmo. I should be paid for that time. It is absurd that I had to do all of that work rather than the first person I spoke with handling the claim. I have no idea what has happened to this bank-I have been a customer for ** years!
I did receive my money back the other day-that does not resolve anything-they are now reviewing what happened (investigating) which can take several months for them to decide. Personally I would like to speak to their headquarters about this. I would like to know what has happened with this bank
** years-seriously, I'd like to teach their people on the *** number what customer service is. are they hiring defective people-is the training off? I have had claims over the years and always had quick action and my money returned to me the same day.
I might change banks unless someone can give me some satisfaction about this being a fluke-the process I just went thru. would love to have the number and name of someone I could call about this-very tired of the whole subject but it is clear that something very big has changed with this bank. I can't even reach my branch manager by phone-the calls go directly to another person at the bank

I went to my local branch and they made a call-it still took * more days, not the * days they promised. I would suggest anyone go to their branch immediately. I spent * hours on the phone with the *** number and spoke with ** people-crazy. this bank has really gone downhill
