I have been a metro customer since ****. Recently I was given a *g phone by a friend. I paid the activation but decided I did'nt like the new phone so i switched back to my old phone that i from metro in ****. I tgen did research on phones and decided to get a samsung A** *G. I went tovtgecmetro store and saw the upgrade price and decided to buy it there. Tge sales person was very helpful but when they looked at my account they told me i was not eligible for an upgrade because i activated a phone two weeks ago. I explained to them that i have never bought a phone from metro since i first signed up fo ry service in ****. Tgey told me that because i activated a phone it cancelled my uogragmde eligibility and i would not be eligible for another ungrade for **days. I told them that activating a phone I already had was not an upgrade it was simply a motivating a phone I already had. I called customer service and asked what is the upgrade benefit at metro, they told me metro has phones I can get at a lower price as an upgrade everyv** days. I told them I had never bought a phone from metro since **** and that I wanted to buy a samsung a** *g. They told me I would have to go to a metro store to purchase it. I told them the metro store said amvnoy elegible, then they looked on nt account and said I wasnt eligible for an upgrade. I tgen toldher you just told me the purpose of an upgrade is to. Benefit from buying a phone that have been marked down for upgrading phones. I then told them I didnt buy a phone from them for an upgrade andctge phonetic activated was a phone I already had so that doesnt qualify as agrade because I didnt buy a phone from metri, they said when I activate any phone it cancels eligibility for an upgrade for ** days. So the problem I didnt get a upgrade phone from metro and because I activated a phone I already had I cant get an upgrade phone from metro for another ** days.
