Help with my US Postal Service issue

I placed an international order from China through EMS. My shipping info was confirmed clearly by the seller. I've been tracking my package through EMS since the **th, and today it showed up at a USPS post office, however the zip code was *****... which is in Alaska, and my zip code is ***** which is Salt Lake City UT. I would have called the ***** USPS but they apparently are only open on Wednesdays. What is going on?
