I received an email from Booking.com confirming a new account and providing me with a verification number, even though I did not create a new account. I have been trying to contact Booking.com to warn them of my identity fraud and get help to close the account. While I eventually got on the phone with an agent, they didn't speak English very well and had a very hard time understanding my problem. I was told they would call me back, but I never hear back from them.

Since I have access to the email address on file with this new account, I tried logging in with that email, reset my password, successfully logged in, and then deleted the account.
